KR808D-1 to 510 Atty Adapter Fail :(

Just wanted to give people an FYI that Nhaler's KR808D-1 to 510 atomizer adapter only works on manual batteries. I just got my order in from them and to my dismay, the adapter just wouldn't work. So I looked at it and there's no way air can pass through it. So instead of being able to try out a 510 atty on my KR8 batteries and not buy the whole setup, it seems I'll have to buy a new manual battery since I don't have any. I'm a bit irritated that it wasn't mentioned on the website that this adapter would only work on manual batteries.

So, I just wanted to let anyone else know that thought about this setup to make sure and have a manual battery.

I'm Vaping out of a 510 Atty right now with a KR808d-1 Battery and getting plumes of vapor and think it's a really cool set up. In fact I am making it my new 3.7 to carry with me, double check your set up mone works

You are right...Just got mine also and it only works with my manual battery.

I called to ask if they sent me the right adapter and felt like I was getting yelled at. So I mentioned that they should put a note in its description that it only works on manual batteries and quickly got off the phone. I'd been looking at ordering some stuff from Nhaler for awhile, but in getting treated like that...I think I'll look elsewhere.

Im sorry you feel this way, but the adapters do work on the batteries that I sell, both manual and auto...I'm not sure who you spoke to but I'm sure no one would "yell" at you....Im using an auto battery right now with the adapter...Again very sorry about the confusion.

Maybe that is issue for me, The 808 batt. that I using is not from Inhaler. The adapter only works with the manual not the auto that I have. Just thought of something else....I am using a xl auto batt. could that be the issue? It works great with the shorter manual.

No It shouldnt matter about the length...It also could be that the adapter type you recieved is the sealed one which only works with the manuals...Again sorry for the confusion.

Thats ok... It is fine with my manuals and that is what I use most anyway. Its all good.

So maybe something needs to be set straight. From what I have read a KR8 battery is the same no matter who you buy it from, auto or manual.

Im not "dismissing" anyone or anything, I was merely stating that the adapters work with my batteries...I cant be sure about what other batteries companies are selling, now could I?
There are also posts from others stating that their batteries worked from other companies as far as I can see... So im not sure why you would make a statement like this??? Sorry your upset...

How can I order a 510 to KR808 adapter and be sure that I get one that works with an auto battery? I ordered one a few weeks back from you and it works great on my manual batteries, but it is the sealed type that doesn't work on autos.

From my limited understanding- Your a seller of KR808 to 510 adapter.
Min. Two different people (within this thread alone) who bought from you state: They do not work with my autos. One states- I have manual not a problem.

Your response that prompted my post was basically: "They work for me and my product"

Original person recommended making a disclaimer when selling them- Not addressed by you or his expenditure on your product that is of no use to him. Your other customer can evidently use them on their manual.

Do I have anything wrong here? If I do not,;perhaps, you should try wearing the original poster's shoes.

Maybe the original poster does not have actual KR8 batteries but a knock off being sold as a KR8. I have read in other posts something about the way vendors are labeling things. I'm just saying....

More then one person is having a problem and doesn't appear as of any great concern. I'm just use to seeing a different level of service- I guess.

I've talked with the OP about the adapter in question..
He has KR8 auto batteries that he got from V4L..
the adapter he got was a sealed adapter...
So yeah unfortunately they aren't compatable..
I tried looking on the Nhaler website to see what he ordered and for the life of me I can't pick out the adapter he ordered to begin with...
So really I think it's just a cluster of miscommunication/wrong item ordered...
I think he was more upset that someone else gave him a solution to "fix" it..and that didn't go so well and he ended up busting his PT in the process too..but that is totally user error and bad advice from someone on a "fix"..so it ended up being like $16 for an adapter he can't use with the battery he has and a broken PT..

It's easy for us to be "armchair" suppliers on the forum and criticize, but the forum is not the only communication Drew has with his customers. How do you know what information has been exchanged in this matter via email or telephone? As you can see in his earlier post, he has already stated that the OP's suggestion will be implemented.
People sure seem quick to fly in here and state that they will not buy nhaler products, yada yada, because other suppliers care more...WHAT? I'm sure that's why other suppliers won the vapy award for BEST overall supplier...no wait that was Drew who won that for his awesome service. Before getting too riled up over this OP's issue, I recommend taking a break for a little while and just let Drew handle this one. He is not perfect in every way, but he always takes care of his customers.
