KR808D-1 user questions

Many members have said that the Johnson Creek juice is very thin, and plays havoc on the addys.
I'm really not impressed with the KR808.
I have an auto from Vapor Kings, and a manual from V4L. Neither produce even HALF the vapor that Green Smoke does, and GS carts are a lower level (8mg compared to 11mg from VK and V4L).
When I say not even half the vapor, I mean almost NO vapor. It's like the tiniest puff of "smoke". Sometimes not even that.
I'm really disappointed. GS is so expensive but honestly from what I've found it seems like they're worth it. Unless someone can direct me to an e-cig that has a great throat hit AND a good amount of vapor.

Yeah, I don't think the PT makes much of a difference honestly. Stronger throat hit but comparable vapor (not much, LOL).

CRAZY trying to find the cappachino carts on the V4L site, DUH, I never realized that they aren't on there because they are out of stock!!!
I have noticed kind of the same thing Jessa, my GreenCig, not to be confused with GreenSmoke kicks out much more vapor than the KR808D-1 carts I have seen. Even the freshly filled ones don't kick out a huge cloud of it. The KR808D-1 really wins people over I believe with the taste, warm vapor and nice hit though not so much producing a big cloud of vapor. If you want a big cloud of vapor pick up the VG content of your juices, add a drop or two to it and your vapor production will grow. Add PG for more throat hit. I don't mind the KR808D-1 it's taste and warm vapor with the hit it gives is nice and refilling it is extremely easy.

For me certain cartomizers do taste kinda perfumish, certain ones don't put out much vapor, some put out a lot. I have been refilling my V4L Menthol cartomizers with mint 18 mg juice when maybe halfway used from vapor country and I'm actually enjoying that alot and starting to enjoy the margarita cartomizers more, nice warm vapor, good taste and throat hit now, when I first tried them I thought they were too sweet and didn't like them. The chocolate that was included in my order is actually producing good vapor, crazy throat hit, but taste was horrible to me at first, but now okish but nothing great(Edit: just looked and the chocolate is 24 mg which could explain the insane throat hit I'm getting).

Hey bladeangel, I'm glad to hear it wasn't just me! I started vaping with an 801 and just got my vk yesterday after trying out my son's vk. He had a menthol carto in his and it tasted fine to me, but I like to vape the fruity flavors so I ordered chocolate, lychee, peach cobbler and pomegranite. The lychee and pom are so perfumy and sickening sweet for my taste. The peach cobbler has a good taste but I got it in 24mg because that is what I vaped with my 801 and it was way too strong. A 24mg vape with a vk is much stronger than a 24mg vape in a penstyle! My favorite juice is banana, but v4l does not have any prefilled banana carts that I could find. I'm now in search of blank carts so i can put my own juice in them without mixing them with flavors pre-existing in used carts and I think if I can do that, I will have everything just the way I like it. I definitely like the vk ecig more than my 801 with the exception of missing my banana vape!
I agree with the sentiment. I refilled many of my KR808D-1 cartomizers with ECOpure VG liquid and the vapor production increased substantially.
You can get VG liquid from a number of sources.
Vermont Vapor has an extensive line of VG-only liquids.
ECOpure VG can be bought from many suppliers, but Innovapor and Cignot readily come to mind.

Yeah sorry so many other post got to this before I could answer you. You can get PG from Walgreens 16oz @ $12.95 and you can get VG from them or CVS for $4-$5 no problem. If you find that you are getting hassled over the PG let me know and I can get you some and send it. I had no problem getting it from the pharmacy, it is not a restricted item and they have no right to say that it is restricted. If you want to try just a little bit send me a pm and I will whip up a kit for you with 10ml of VG, 10ml of PG, and 10ml of your choice of flavors between Chocolate, Vanilla, or Root Beer. The one thing I don't have to spare is unflavored nicotine PG or VG. This will come out of my stash and is an offer to help you out, NOT an offer for everyone or for business purposes, you won't find Snarky's DIY kit's for sale anywhere, lol!
And of course there are the sites that sell it like those mentioned above in other post, like Dawn's DIY, I believe that MWV also sells them in premixed quantities unflavored. You might want to check out seedman.com for tobacco flavors to add to it. Many people have used them since they were found by a member here and are very satisfied with the flavors they are very potent from what I understand.

check out vapornine.com's liquids. they have a decent selection and they aren't that expensive. they also sell "blank" cartomizers that can be used with their nebula batteries. this is a great company and they have the best customer service hands down.
I'm new to this whole thing,and it took me a couple days, but I can now produce just as much vapor as a cigarette does smoke. I also add Drew's juices to my cartomizer though, because they taste wonderful.
I used to kinda hit it like a joint, but now, I start off with a joint draw, inhaling as I suck, and about halfway through, I switch and let it fill my mouth. Inhale, exhale, and a pretty good plume of smoke. When I suck, I do it slow, kinda like I'm trying to drink a really thick milkshake thru a straw.
