Kr808d - 510?

What is the difference between the KR808D and the 510? I've been vaping V2 and V4 808's since Feb and I'm getting tired of having to fuss with the refilling of carts and other maintance and was wondering if the 510 would be better or not. Does anyone have a picture of the two together so I can compare the sizes.

I love not smoking, but smoking is so much easier. Wish I could just chunck it all, but alas, I'm a very weak person when it comes to will power to just quit.

The kr808 and 510 are different threads if you have 808 battery or pv you beed adapter 808 to 510 to use 510 or visa versa. Some like 510 better some like 808 better more variety in 510 i find bigger ml. dualcoil 510 cartos to be best. All types are hit and miss to find what works best for you.

Ms. Patrisha the 510 and kr808 differ in a few ways. 510 is a female connection and the batts are regulated to 3.2-3.4 depending on the manufacturer. The draw is a bit stiffer on the 510 in comparison to the 808. With kr808's gen 1 (type you're using) are unregulated and start at 4.2v and drop with use, and are a male connection. As Ms. Speedmom said there is more variety with the 510 connection than the kr808 (though you can also use 901 attys with 808 devices).

I can't answer your question, but I do know that I was vaping KR808 when I started vaping in March. I was forever charging batteries, filling cartridges, making sure I had all my gear whenever I left the house, so not to be caught without anything to vape!! I travel a lot, so it's like packing another bag!!! Then I found the IGO (see my picture), it's a great PV. I like the bigger 1300 mah when I leave home, I know it will last me most of the day. All I have to take is an extra battery and my charger and a couple of cartomizers filled with my favorite juice when I go on an overnight. I do carry smaller containers of the juice so I'm sure to not run them dry. Love these PV's, love the battery time, love the no fuss when I'm getting ready to go somewhere, love that I can vape all day without having to worry about charging batteries constantly!! For just a day outting, I only need to take one battery with the cartomizer I'm going to vape with that day!! Bill, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...go-kits-1300mah-45-00-650-mah-40-00-a-26.html carries these kits and for a great price!! Also, for testing new flavors, most of the KR808 carts will fit on this battery. D and B Gold - Home I have not touched an analog or have even had the desire since I've been doing the IGOs! It's been the perfect fit for me!! Good Luck!! :vapor:

I'm at the point like you were before getting your IGO. I waste to much time keeping my vaping habit going. I did buy the new ELITE kit, which I think is like the IGO, but I don't like manual battery's. It's a great battery, but I wish they would come out with an auto style. I want to pick up my ecig and take a puff without feeling for the button. It sounds like the 510 is similar to the KR808 as far as having to maintain and filling of the carts, so best to stay with my KR808's for now.

I wonder why the manufactures don't make auto battery's for the ICO, ELITE and other larger battery's.

Patrisha, check out Bill's forum or web site, he carries the Echo in automatic 1300 mah. It is pretty awesome, I own a couple. I just prefer the throat hit and power of vape I get from the autos!

Malaysia
Hi guys,

Let me tell you my story about 510, 510-T, Ego and KR808D-1. Please note that i'm from Malaysia.

I started vaping with 510 and then i moved to Ego after 2 months because 510 doesn't has a PCC back then even its available now, non of the retailer/reseller in my country carry them. So i have to move to Ego for bigger battery capacity to last me whole day of vapping. I started direct dripping on my second month.

After 6 months of Ego, i get tired of direct dripping because i can't get to use it in certain situation like driving, in the bath and so on plus i have to bring a bottle of E-Liquid with me everywhere i go. Finally i gave cartomizer a try, at first i try Boge's carto, Smok's dual coils carto and Kanger's carto. They're damn good, can get to last me a few months plus i don't have to bring a bottle of E-Liquid with me everywhere i go and drip it every few minutes. But then i get tired of refilling and cleaning those carto, so i decided to give 510-T a try.

I used 510-T for only a day. Why? Because the taste and vapor production can't compare with carto/direct dripping. Tasteless, less vapor, small capacity to store E-Liquid (0.7ml). So i went back to carto until today, i'm still happy with it but not the refill/cleaning part. I get to try CE2 and the clear cartomizer/G4, CE2 is good but its harder to refill compare to normal carto and the vapor it produces is quite warm, a little too warm for me. And for the clear cartomizer, its very nice but have to handle/use it with care like can't simply put it anywhere or in the pocket which is OK for me since i'm now using KR808D-1 with a cool looking PCC, can stores 2 batteries, 4 carto/4 clear carto which can last me for whole day of vapping. Another thing is, its very easy to refill and i'm all happy using it :thumb:

Actually i started using KR808D-1/V4L 3 months ago after i saw quite an amount of good reviews from ECF and Youtube. My 510 and Ego are manual version, 510-T is auto version, but the suction on KR808D-1/V4L is a lot better and i can have automatic battery which is what i prefer. It looks and feels a lot like a real tobacco cigarette but a lot more stylish :p
One more thing you guys should know is, E-Cigarette in Malaysia is not as popular as in US, you'll look like a freak using Ego in public. If you're doing direct dripping in the public, people here will thinks you're doing drug

This is just what i feel/think personally. But i think you should give clear carto a try before moving to 510 since the cost of purchasing a 510 starter kit is more expensive than a pack of clear carto but you have to be careful with it or else it will breaks or leaks easily. Hope this can help you

*Sorry my english is poor :(

I'm fairly new to this forum. Would you please post a link to Bill, as I know a lot of Bill's, but not the Bill your talking about.
Thanks
