Hey guys,

I bought my first 2 rba’s – a Kraken and an Igo-L. Since opinions vary about which parts (wick, wire…) perform best, I want to buy a couple of different types from each to test out. I’m thinking:

- 2 Kanthal A-1 wire gauges (30 and 32g)
- 1 Nichrome wire (34g)
- 1 Ekowool silica wick, 2mm (hollow or solid?)
- 1 “common” silica wick
- 1 cotton wick (?)

I want small amounts of each, since I’ll be testing what I like best.

Questions:

- Is there ONE place where I can buy small amounts of all of the above? (With quality items, not Chinese?)
- Any suggestions about brands, gauges, etc, wick hollow or solid?
- The Kraken requires that thick piece of metal to wrap the wire… what is that called???

Thanks!

milazinha

Hello neighbor...
Here is a great place rtdvapor, can't really buy the wire in small amounts but it's cheap enough. They have the silica and ekowool too.

You can buy peaches and cream cotton yarn from Walmart (not the white stuff) or cotton balls (my favorite)
Just play around and see what you like, lots of factors come into play (target resistance, batteries, juice)
Good luck and have fun!

kidney puncher sells various sizes of wire in 3 foot increments for a decent price. cheaper than my B&M atleast. haha.

Kinda hard to beat 100' spools from Temco for ~$5 each.....with FREE SHIPPING!!:D
You can make a LOT of coils (or, a LOT of "mistakes"....!!;)) for very little $$$....
Happy (vaping) Trails!
