Originally I thought I was going to Mount Middle of Nowhere Connecticut, but actually I'll be going back to Baltimore instead. Hooray! My parents are really glad I've quit smoking, so I intend to reap the benefits of that. (Hello new phone, new glasses, new things...)

We'll have a lovely dinner, which I'm looking forward to, and maybe I'll get to see the one person in Baltimore I still like.

I'm just wondering whether or not my parents will let me vape inside. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I'm not even going to attempt to vape inside grandmas house, had this conversation with Hubbs last night. She is very old fashioned, close minded, and anti everything lol. She knows that some of her family smokes, but pretends that it's not there if she can't see it. No one knows that I was smoking again, and they're likely to jump down my throat for vaping because they've surely only heard the negative aspects.

So I'm just gonna take it outside and avoid the crazy controversy. Maybe I can turn my dad and uncle onto vaping while I'm at it :D

Oops CES, thought I was congratulating you on becoming a vet & then looked closer with old fuzzy eyes and saw you were congratulating Krispers-lol.
Bought the turkey yesterday & it was beginning to thaw in fridge section of supermarket. I put it in my fridge (all 20lbs.) hoping it will be defrosted in time? I guess I should go to a recipe site & make sure. Can hardly believe it's been something like 8 years since I cooked a bird. My life has been sooo crazy. Been taking small steps back to normality, two forward & only 1 back most days.
Thankful for this place and you all!
Going to cooking site now, just got nervous-lol

This is a prime example of why I just buy the refridgerated pre-cooked ham with the brown sugar glaze, no cooking, just heating! (Other than the glaze, which is a PITA!) I also make casseroles (usually green bean and broccoli rice), so they pretty much cook themselves lol. Usually get frozen pies to thaw. Usually the most involved cooking is if I make the Broccoli Salad, but even that doesn't take too long; and doesn't require heating at all, just measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients. me some Broccoli Salad, haven't had it in a few years, think it may be time for me to make it again! :D

I even just buy prepackaged potato rolls and just heat them in the oven with butter brushed on top lol. I'm a lazy cook.

It just occurred to me that it's only 2 days away lol! Hubbs is filling up the van with gas before the prices rise from the traveling. I need to get some clothes washed to wear, that pile of laundry is HUGE and just looming in my face, threatening to fall over. I hate when I get that far behind, it's hard to start at that point; so it gets even further behind.

I need to make an ornament too, one of my cousins said that we should all bring ornaments that represent a memory, but I can't think of any memories to represent! Haven't even started on it yet...call me last minute Christi! Lol.
