Ladies, what are your holiday plans?

Don't know about our Christmas plans yet, gotta get ahold of everyone. I know we're not traveling, so it's just about when the family gets together. Next week I'm going to buy the stuff for Christmas dinner; still gotta put up the tree too lol.

We're having ham, broccoli rice casserole, green bean casserole, potato dinner rolls, and maybe broccoli salad. Got most of the Christmas shopping done, just a few more things to get!

all righty then...on to the next big holiday.

i just made plan reservations to go to my brother's. but found out that my parents may not be able to make it. If that's the case it'll be the first time in at least 10 years that we haven't all been together.

Mine will be a replay of Thanksgiving as far as the food goes.....unless I decide to make something off the wall.....like enchiladas All the kids will be here around 9 to open presents....can't wait to watch the granddaughter this year!!!

Here's ours, got it put up last night finally:

I can't get good pics inside our place, the lighting is horrible!

The cat was playing with the tree before I even got it put up! Lol! I pulled the pieces out of the box and went to set up the bottom, turned around and he was getting all frisky with the top that was still all compressed and on the floor! As soon as the first ornament went on, he was all over it! Crazy cat lol.

Now the kids are messing with it, and I found the cat halfway up it a few minutes ago. Went to get the camera for a pic and he got down before I could take a picture dangit. He bent one of the branches too, so I had to get the pliers to hold it while I bent it back up lol. I was expecting mass destruction of the tree anyway, just gonna have to keep redecorating!

It's a beautiful tree pretty- especially with the lights on!

You'll have to take a series of pictures and show the evolution of the cat and kid 'contributions' hehe

I invested in plastic ornaments lol. I usually have plastic icicles up too, but I could so see my 2 youngest jabbing each other with them, so I kept them off this year lol.
