i have a nook that is dual booted as an android, so i can download and read nook, kindle and almost any book with e-reader capability. [i have a wierd aversion to paying a company a high price and ONLY being able to order books from their site. monopolies are not us heh]
Yeah, I have quite a few Nook Ebook buys that I had downloaded in the past to read on my comp. When I made my choice about buying my E Reader it was about what device would allow me to get the most for my money. I'm on a fixed income and I looked at all the ins and outs of both devices. $80 a year for all I get, free books, free movies, Prime 2 day delivery (I've used the free expidited delivery a few times and its nice to have that ability), with the actual price of the Nook being higher than my Kindle.. it was a no brainer for me. One thing I had to get used to was how reading my Ebook on a Kindle was not as smoothly set up, (user friendly I mean ) than when I read an E Book using the Nook App on my comp. I'm used to the difference now but at first I had a hard time getting used to my Kindle due to that.
