I'm now on my 7th week analog free, I reduced over about 4 weeks from 20/25 a day to 2 then none, and I still had 1 pack left over, and keep it to remind me what I used to waste my money on here is a pic:

I really admire you guys who've managed to quit cold turkey

I've only been vaping for 3 weeks now and I'm afraid I'm still smoking.

That said, nothing that I've ever tried before even came close to making me quit, gum, patches, those lookalike e-cigs no use whatever.

What I have done so far is cut down from a 25g pack of rolling tobacco a day to one a week.

I can't resist the temptation of one in the morning before I go to work and often have a few in the evening, more if I'm drinking but I think I'm winning and more and more I'm finding myself picking up my tobacco tin to make a rollie and then putting it down again and picking up the vaper.

I'm sure you'll get there Motorfrog - I smoked for many years and in the past two years had got up to 35 per day.
I happened to use a disposable cig one day to see if cigarettes were causing my sore eyes and realised I'd smoked 1/3 less that day. It was sheer wonder that had me see how many less I could smoke, and when I found it down to 6 per day felt the incredulous realisation that it was possible that I may just stop ...and I did. Took around 2-3 weeks.
The first day I got up and didn't have that one cigarette with my first cup of tea was truly amazing, and disappointingly easy!

Have to say the hardest one to give up was first thing in the morning, but it really is ok when you get used to it!

The final two days I didn't smoke in the house and went outside into the garden ...it was darn cold in January stood there in my pyjamas! Had my e-cig in the kitchen cupboard and just got that on Jan 28th ...never had another cigarette. Hope I stay that way :)
