Last minute doubts...510 or 901

...Bout to buy my first ecigs for myself and my other half to share...which of the 501 or 901 has longer battery life/atomizer life/better features?

not worried bout price difference if any. just which i should go for?

smoke 20 cigs a day high nicotine mostly bh or marlboro if it makes a difference....

im not worried but otherhalf wants some realism to the process....

Can't go wrong with either, I'd say 510 since it offers the most vapor and throat hit.

i had the 901 and hated it! the flavors were awful on it...Ive had the 510 now for 6 months now..same bats and atomizers...

I was in your shoes about two weeks ago (20/day Marlboro Reds) and chose the Joye501 - am now painlessly smokefree and really prefer vaping to smoking.

Haven't used the 901 but if you do get the 501 I suggest making sure you have plenty of spare units/juice etc., especially if you're sharing.

510 is a work horse. They're the longest lasting attys I have. Just get a PCC for the short batteries and some of the Mega Power long batteries when you can (4 hours on those). That'll take care of battery woes. A passthrough for at home will take care of you nicely too.

try the 801, very smooth, great flavors, great vapor.
510 is great too but i like my 801 better.

510. You're going to need the throat hit in order to get off the analogs.

I think that you'll find the 510 to deliver more overall vapor.. warmer vapor.. and a more substantial throat and lung hit.

But that comes at a cost. It can "burn out" some of the more subtle and delicate flavors, it will rip through batteries faster, and it is usually a bit more temperamental than the 901. Kinda like a performance car vs a grocery-getter. It's harder to keep it in perfect "tune".

Sure do like my 510 though.....

i got the 901 to start ...it was good but a little harder to draw on because it was an auto battery...it just felt a little off somehow to me.

Switched to the 510 and was so happy with it right from the start...still use it everyday.

510 is a must

Yes, this tends to be true because it burns hot. BUT, it is because of the atty design that it is able to produce so much vapor....can't have it all...yet.

Check my sig for a review on the 901, sounds like you might prefer that or the new VapoRite 808 on sale at goodprophets.com. Very easy and good vapor...if you choose a 501, I've got a coupon code in my PCC review.

901 if you want a smoother vape, 510 if you want some major vape with good throat hit. I'm a 501 guy all the way! You can get bigger batts for it.

Juice is a bit like food in this sense. Some tastes better with more heat, some don't. I find that the tobacco based - marlb., virginia, flu cured, ry4, hilton, kent, camel, 555, coffee, cappuccino, menthol, absinthe, cigar, french pipe, etc. do well on the 510 and the black currant that I have from Decadent Vapours does much better on my 801 janty stick as well as banana cream surprise, vanilla, and other fruit flavors but my favorites - habana reserve, absinthe, cofffee/capp aren't nearly as flavorable on the 801 than they are on the 510. My top vape wouldn't be that were it not for the fact that the 510 brings out it's flavor. RY4 does well on both and may be a reason why it is a favorite around here - (that is, except for those that hate it ;-) - it's a love/hate flavor it seems.)
