I apologize if this sounds flippant, but nearly everything is an unknown. At least the best possible outcome is not a known quantity on the "suck" end of the scale...
Of course I'm flying blind here, I have no idea what I'm talking about and I've already made a fool of myself on a forum today so I really shouldn't post this. But it seems rude to me not to make some reply...

Do you have an ill little one? Just read about treatments, and thought I could relate. I have four boys with special needs. My 17 year old had a kidney transplant in '06, which his body started rejecting last summer. He's been on dialysis since last June. Then, 10 y.o. twins, one with Autism, the other with Asperger's. My oldest is 19, and had severe asthma when he was younger. It gets better with age, it seems.
Anyhow . . . sorry to ramble. Just thought I'd put that out there.
Sounds like me ! 4 surgeries in the last year! Crazy unrelated ones to, Gull Bladder, 12 anchors in my shoulder, Appendix, and stretch of my esophegus (sp?) and I have mild Asperger's as well! and extreme O.C.D but you cannot tell .. seems like it never stops! But thank god i have nothing else that can be removed *Gets one lung removed next week*

Yes I did. I'm sorry I didn't think to reply and thank you for the invitation. Unfortunately, with the way my day works it would be somewhere between "extremely difficult" and "impossible" for me to participate and there would be no way for me to know to which end of the spectrum I would be leaning until the day is actually in progress.
And, too, it is very much like a birthday to me--I am happy to help others celebrate theirs but don't really put much stock in my own
