Well here's hoping for the least invasive and problematic solution that actually resolves your problem :)

And, yeah, been there. I set up a wireless netweork for my mom and had it so that when she turned on the computer it connected automatically. She could never connect. Ever. Not once. I told her "turn on the computer and wait at least two minutes" (she had Vista and a bunch of HP crapware she wouldn't let me get rid of). She never seemed to be able to do it. Ever.

But whaddaya gonna do? They're family--by law, if you shoot them the state gets your share of the inheritance...

Well foot is either a genetic defect in bone or bad shoes took an xray and will know when he calls me

as far as puter goes omg I go there I set everything up to automatically do its thing I show her all she has to do is turn on puter and connect...I proceed to leave I am 10 minutes down the road far enough I was not turning around and she calls me it is not working I spend the next 2 hours on the phone walking her thru it somehow she managed to delete all the settings and is to blind to see where to input things needless to say I am seriously debating changing my phone number lol

Frank's ford, in the Caintuck
Good luck on the x-rays.

It's funny to me that when settings you actively have to go through a menu system to change get deleted they "didn't touch or click on anything" but when all they have to do is click an icon on the desktop labelled CLICK ME they can never manage to remember that. It would be funny but frustrating if it was just my mom, but there are many, many people that fall into this category in my experience...
