Amid rising deaths and illnesses, Montana temporarily bans flavored e-cigarettes

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock on Tuesday enacted a 120-day ban on the sale of flavored vaping products, saying that e-cigarettes are a growing epidemic causing harm among today’s teens.

The ban will go into effect Oct. 22 and the 120 days is the maximum time allowed by law. The state is to implement emergency administrative rules to temporarily prohibit the sale of flavored e-cigarettes.​

There’s multiple threads on this one too. I noticed the ban dates are very grinchy. Right before Black Friday to a bit after Christmas. He’s gonna kill a lot of B&M stores. Maybe that’s the point?

If there's one thread for each state you can easily see which states are idiots. If it's all in one thread you have to slog through 50 pages of hate and anger just to find out where the bans are at. I do believe there should only be one thread per state. Just my

How about a thread with a first post listing each state ban for reference. Again regardless of the state the discussion ends up the same. Knowing which state bans what, flavors, all vapor stuff, and for how long each emergency order is placed should make our lives easier.
@classwife as an admin moderator can you lend your thoughts on how to do this or even if it’s a good idea at all?

Technically these threads should go in Media and General News or in Legislation News...and not General Vaping Discussion

Combining the states would be a mess...
And yea, they all turn into the same thing

A first post can only be edited by the OP for 2 days...so having one and adding to it isn't good.

And - people don't look to see if another thread is already going, they just fly in and post.

So yea...it's all a mess no matter what.
