Hello all, thought I would post this for others that may run into this issue. I just purchased and received my LT 2.0 today. I had problems with it almost immediately after receiving it. I used it for a bit then it just shut off randomly. I replaced the battery because I knew the one I put in was almost dead. A little while later it did it again with the new battery, then again twice more. All of this happened within 8 hours of getting it. I called Volcanoecigs.com and asked them about it. He informed me this has come up a few times and gladly sent out a replacement with no problems. So thought I'd let everyone know in case it comes up for anyone else.

Sorry for not replying on my own thread sooner. John it did flash an error code of "82" sometimes not all though. I finally recieved my new Lavatube and am happy to report it works flawlessly. I absolutely love this thing. Not sure the ohm reading is 100% accurate, but at least gives you a really close ballpark. If your thinking about a Lavatube 2.0 or a new PV I would recommend it. It is thicker than the original LT, but I kind of like it better. The build quality is simply great and the fact they put a hot spring in it I think is another really nice addition.

Mine arrived from Volcano yesterday, DOA. It won't read the atomizer/carto at all. Keeps getting 0.0 ohm reading and simply won't fire. Already have a Provari in the shopping cart. Just sitting here building the nerve to pull the trigger, damn things are expensive.

Volcano is already working on getting a replacement out to me, but I dunno... receiving a DOA product makes me kinda leery on even keeping one anymore.

Same issue here. It's actually the third try. I bought mine at a retail store and when they were putting the battery in the first one, it made a strange click so they never actually gave it to me. They pulled another from the shelf and I vaped that one in the store for a while just fine. Got it home, changed the battery and started having that exact problem. Took it back the next day and got it swapped with no problem. New one works beautifully and I still vouch for Volcano. Hopefully they will find a manufacturing problem and get it fixed before tarnishing too many first impressions.

Are you folks with Lavatube problems trying to use a protected battery? My Lavatube has no problems with AW IMR 18650s, but when I try to feed it a Trustfire protected battery, it gags. Apparently the protection circuit in the battery doesn't play nice with the protection circuits in the Lavatube.

I don't have my device yet but i do not use protected batts in a device that already has protection either.I always use IMR batts, even in my mech.'s i use IMR batts, with a shortstop fuse of course though.

I had the same issue with mine and was able to switch it out at the store where I bought it. New LT has no issues

Except

Issue I am having is I get through about 5 or 6 pulls and the atomizer becomes flooded. I have to unseat it and dab it out to clear it. I use 50/50. Anyone have any ideas?

What kind of tank are you using? Your problem has nothing to do with the Lavatube.
