I just got my Lavatube in the mail today and put the battery to charge a few hours ago and the charger still indicates a red light. I wanted to know if the size of that battery just takes a long time or something is wrong with the battery I got. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows if Battery Town sells 18650 batteries, capable of fitting into the Lavatube?

Heyas Druley,

It can take a few hours to charge, depending on how much of a charge the batt shipped with. If you have a volt meter handy, pull the batt off and check it. If it's at 4.2v, it's fully charged. Also, I've seen posts from ppl saying that the light on their trustfire tr-001(the same as the one that I got from volcano in my LT kit) charger didn't go from red to green when the batt was fully charged. I have 3 of those chargers, and they all work fine, and the light turns green when the charge is done though.

No idea about battery town. Super t sells the aw imr 18650's with the nipple, that I've read will also work with the LT. Haven't tried them on the lt yet though.

It's taking mine between 5-6 hours to fully charge and have the light turn green. I thought something was wrong at first too, until I realized I was comparing the charge time to my eGo batteries. Different critters completely.:)

They are Different critters. More mAh means longer charging time.

5-6 Hours sounds like the Very top end for a fully drained battery. I would keep my eye on your charger/battery and don't leave it unattended.
