Lavatube issues... what would you do?

No, they paid shipping. The one good thing has been their customer service. They were generally quick to get back to me and was really nice. It was even good of them to call me and ask if I wanted the red one because it is very pink... and being a guy, nothing wrong with that, but I don't want a pink mod....

To bad you don't live near me... A volcano retail store just opened about 5 minutes from me... I have been it a couple of times and talked vape with the owner... He will/would take care of any issues with a simple exchange... They guy will even swap my knock off AW's for the real deal when he gets them in...

You're probably right. But, if I was a vendor, and I had an openly vocal critic, I would bend over backward to try and make it right. It would make them look great in the end. Because I would be openly vocal about that as well. Even if I get my LT replaced or fixed, I probably won't keep it. However, if they had stellar CS, I could at least point that out, and not be wary of sending potential customers their way. As it stands now, I'm not impressed.

Hmmm...that really doesn't sound like Volcano. Sorry that you are having some problems. And by any means, I'm not taking away from your experience with them. I have only had to go through their CS a few times, and have always been promptly taken care of. And they have always been a pleasure to work with.

When I first received my Silver LavaTube, I was initially peeved as well. I had all these...what looked like black scuff marks everywhere. I rubbed them a little. Nothing. Rubbed them a bunch more, and they all came off! The LT looks pristine now. Buttons, end cap...all good. My voltage under load works as it should as well. I couldn't be happier.

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that Volcano customer service has already gotten back to me and we are resolving the situation to my satisfaction. I just wanted to let you guys know. They were really apologetic and took care of the situation right away. I am sorry Fazed above hasn't had the same experience. Pretty much every time I have talked to them or had a problem that have gotten back to me fast and taken care of the issue. I just wanted to let everyone know. I even told him I could just super glue it like in my original post, and I think other suppliers may have told me to go ahead and do it.... but they are getting me a new replacement... So thanks for all of your input. I was on the fence if I wanted to write them or not and now I am glad I did :)
