yea USPS is back logged from the holidays and from some storms that rolled through the US. Their expected delivery date is just that an expected date, meaning they hope it will get there that day.

We are sorry for the delays and wish we could make things faster but it is all USPS being slow and nothing we can do. I am sure your stuff will show up soon.

Aloha!

I picked up a Lavatube V2 in blue today from the fantastic retail kiosk at Pearlridge today. I got the full kit, a matching drip tip, and an UltraFire 3000mAh BRC18650 battery.

Using the 1600mAh battery for now while the 3000mAh charges up on the xtar WP2 II charger that was included with the kit. I want to say I started charging the battery around 5:30 PM, and now it's close to 10:30... So 5 hours now it's been charging on the 1A setting in channel 1 (left slot), and the led where the battery is inserted is still red. Now, as I understand the instructions for the charger, I should expect to see the led turn green when charging is complete. Is this correct? If so, how long should it take to complete the initial charge of the 3000mAh BRC18650 battery? Just seems like 5 hours is a bit excessive, but it may be completely normal.

Any information would be helpful!

BTW, love your RY-Four and tobacco Pure juices, good stuff!

Mahalo!

Be sure that the charger is set to the 1 amp setting. Half an amp of charge will take up to six or seven hours for the 3000Mah battery. My 1600 Mah batts are done in about an hour and a half too two hours on the 1 amp setting.

I picked up a second 1600Mah AW IMR 18650 earlier today just in case I drain the one.... I ordered mine with Blue Water Punch. :)

I also picked up some My4 (In house made RY4) from ecigexpress on my way into work. Love the stuff!

Did you buy the 3kmah batt from volcanoecigs as well? And how often each day were you vaping? Like chain vaping. 5 days is impressive...i must say

Definitely not chain vaping, don't think I know how much you need to vape to be considered chain vaping; I used to smoke about 1/2pk day. I don't know if I'm vaping in similar way as used to smoke, but I probably vape every 20 or so minutes, and for a few drags. If that helps; I'm sure someone who values all day non stop would probably still get 2 days???

I would probably consider myself a chain vaper... I can whip through 5-7ml a day, and just sit around all day with my PV in my hand puffing away... (I vape a LOT more than I used to smoke).

Using the 3000mAh UltraFire, with those vaping habits... Running a 3 Ohm carto at 5V, I was able to vape from Friday Afternoon to Monday Evening... So 2.5, 3 days... Something around there... Very impressive.

My 2250 Panasonics will last me 2 full days as well. In fact, I haven't run a Panasonic battery to a full discharge yet, even vaping on it for two days. So it may last just as long as the 3000mAh battery, even though that defies all logic. The Panasonic batteries are unprotected high drain batteries though, which from what I've read perform a bit better in PV's than protected low drain (Like the UltraFire)

Okay, guess I have an idea of what chain vaping is :)
I've only been going through about .7ml-about 1ml per day.
