I started out my ecig journey after purchasing and ego-t starter kit with a ce5+ clearo, this clearo was the type that could have the atomiser changed to save a bit of cash here and there but after a couple of days it started to leak everywhere from the bottom so i got a non replaceable one instead.

then i saw a chinese site selling replaceable one at $2.99 and $0.99 for the replacement atomiser, i'm english so it worked out ridiculously cheap and so i bought 10 tanks and 30 replacement atomiser (i went over board i know) the problem is out of those 10 tanks 9 leaked everywhere.

funnily enough the first one i tried was the only working one, has anyone else had this issue with other replaceable ones or could someone recommend a solid, never failing brand/shop

Is it leaking from the bottom 'O' ring, or is leaking through the center post? If it's leaking out of the side at the bottom then it's the 'O' ring. I found that the land the 'O' ring is supposed to go on in some of these devices is actually wide enough for two of the silicon 'O' rings and if they only put one on it rolls and twists, damaging it.

If it's leaking out of the center post then it shouldn't leak as long as you keep them upright. If it leaks out of the center post then you've either overfilled them (over where the wick enters the head) or there's a problem with one of the other 'O' rings on the center post.

If it only leaks from the center post when it's on the side, then it is probably that the wick is too small and is not filling the gap between the head and the silicon cap correctly. Try boiling the head as this will fluff the wick up slightly. Dry and re-arrange the wick fibers so that they cover the gap into the head at least partly. This should solve your problem.

Some of the Chinese stuff is rediculously cheap, but the quality control and assembly may be lacking a bit.

cheap ones do leak sometimes.
9 of 10, sounds like a bad batch or, could be operator error.
don't overfill them.
spend 20 bucks and try a good rebuildable one.
easier to clean when changing juice too.
vivi novas are good to start with but loose flavor.
kanger protanks are good and have good flavor, not the best but good.
i use both and neither have leaked.
protank is very easy to fill also.
look on youtube and see what you might like to use.
you can buy a lot of cheap, or
buy 1 or 2 good ones and keep going.
both models come with spare heads.

Seems too cheap to be a reliable delivery device. I've been using the Vision brand Mini Vivi Nova 2.0 ml for 7+ months with no wicking issues, dry burn, etc. Using anywhere from 60/ 40 to 85/ 15 PG/ VG juice. Heads lasting 10+ weeks. I've bought delivery devices in bulk but only after knowing they were solid performers.

It could also be that the head / coil is a bit loose on the the post. If it starts out that way from the factory, taking the drip tip off to fill can loosen it more, and it can then leak. Especially if overfilled or on its side.

I usually take any new delivery device apart and clean it before using, and snug everything up when I re-assemble.
