I hear ya fully, thats why i made the suggestion to try something else, im trying to be as honest as possible with everyone here, its hard for me to sit here and pinpoint peoples issues to help them out when i dont have those issues, like with ce2 leaking, i can control that by offering tubes or glue and other options etc. with the turbine i can explain how they need to seat it properly to make sure it has airflow etc.. but with sapphire at 77 now and not one issue except the one user error of filling airflow chamber with juice. So its hard for me to help people fix things when i dont have those issues.

Hope this goes through as I have the glitch now. Everyone has a right to a voice on ecf. With that being said to continuously come on here and just keep repeating the same thing over and over is annoying. No one else seems to have had the same out of box trouble you have so they have given you ideas on how to fix it. You have already torn them down and reassembled them so you have the ability to follow their directions. I am not gifted that way and have had to bug Bad since my first interaction with him to teach me( mind you I was not even a customer of GotVapes at the time). So as Bad has said if they are not working for you try something else. As far as cost goes.....I appreciate you all finding life extending techniques but if a sapphire lasts 2 days it cost you 1.75. I as a former smoker spent the equivalent of that in less than half a day. That has been Bothering me for a long time. I appreciate what you all do but sometimes we need a reality check

lets all take a chill pill here, we are all family here.

I feel your frustrations smoking rt and rob i understand your issues, thats what the community is for, if i cant solve a persons issue then we have other memebers who might, thats what we are here for.

So if something doesnt work out for somebody even after they tried to get it to fit their needs then other options like the turbine 2 or vortex 2 etc... might be the best way to go, so this way you dont rack your own brain and waste more of your time on something that doesnt please you.

First let me say... Where the holy hell are the sapphires?.?.?.?.need to order!!!!!! Then I want to apologize to Rob. Rob I don't know you dude and that was not directed at you alone. Having been on here for awhile I just get annoyed sometimes way to easily. I apologize honestly. We are a fam here this little GotVapes sub forum and I should have welcomed you before this if I have not already. If there is anything I can do for you let me know. I am not a modder and I have no building skills but I have friends. lol. If you would like when I do order I can test my sapphires and when I know they have no leakers I will send you a couple. If Rob does not see this someone send him here.

i've been guilty of getting annoyed too easily on forums as well, no biggee. I just really want these to work. the CE2 metal ones work great for me, its just they are basically uncleanable so once they clog i'm throwing them out. understand what you are saying about the cost of smoking, thats why I don't smoke anymore regular cigarettes anymore. if it wasn't for vaping, I wouldn't be smoking at all, no way I can afford that anymore.

its just frustrating when you take something out of the box with standard juice light 80/20 juice and it starts leaking. I can blow it out and continue, but obviously thats not feasilbe when driving to work, not to mention the oil isn't exactly easy to clean. I will try with the fat CE2 wicks which people seem to like but i need to kill one first. I tried dry burning one all together in one piece and it heated up enough that the plastic part slipped off and since the metal pieces don't stay together, that means wick replacement. anyway, I'm using 3.7volt rivas so the juice should be burning up instead of puddling in the coil area and leaking out. it works for like half way through, I guess its filling up little by little in there, maybe i'm puffing on these things incorrectly. maybe they need to cool first or something, I do hit them constantly, I vape way way more than I should.

Rob aside from your problems with the Sapphire, CE2's are really easy to clean. I pre-soak with a few drops of distilled vinegar to speed up the dry-burn process, but basically it's just 1) strip, 2) rinse, 3) dryburn, and 4) reassemble. The juice I use is about as dirty as it gets, and I've lost count of how many refills I get with mine. Give it a try. :)

Hi Rob,

Pardon me for jumping in, but if the Sapphire isn't working well for you, you might want to consider the Diamond Dual Coil cartomizers that gotvapes has on their website. The filler in the Diamond Duals is way, way better than any carto filler I've ever used (and I think I've tried almost every carto on the market!). Really, for me, they are the "holy grail" of cartos with filler. They vape clean. Great clean taste, wonderful vapor, and excellent throat hit even for me, who vapes 100% VG juice :)

If you'll PM me with your mailing address, I'd be happy to send you one to try out. I can also send you a sample of gotvapes Mountain Rift 100% VG juice. It's absolutely awesome in the Diamond Dual Coil carto! So many people have helped me out in my vaping experience that I'm more than glad to offer help to others :)

i assume you mean the clear ones. those are easy to clean, but the tubes keep breaking so I been buying the metal ones. I tried squirting water in and blowing them out, but didn't seem to get a good clean. and I removed the rubber from the metal ones before at the top, could never get it back in, with the plastic, easier ordeal.

appreciate the offer, I don't think its necessarily that its 100% vg, I think its because its dark juice, I had some ikenvape cartomizers that are basicallly boge cartomizers with filler that I filled with this juice and it doesn't soak in, just sits on the top. Ironically, the sapphire is working better now with a thin wick with the dark juice then the stock one works with normal juice. maybe I just need to get one of those VV PT's and run it at 4.2 volts and relagate these to movie nights at home. that should stop the issue with any unburned liquid getting through.

I only use the metal ones, but I pull all the rings out (even the bottom fill ring). That bottom ring can be a pita to get back in, so I just leave it out use the o-ring and mouthpiece. It improves the wicking quite a bit, but you have to be more careful about laying it down.

Sounds like a good plan.

It's nice to see another Floridian here :)

just checked out the video, interesting. I don't think thats the problem in my case. I know exactly when its going to leak as the liquid starts coming up the air tube, then starts dropping back into the atomizer, a few hits like that and it eventually all leaks out. I don't have the original wick in two of them because the top plate gets stuck in the tube when taking it apart and the wick gets burned in place on the coil, and there is no way to put it back in. just to get it off the coil, I've had to heat it while doing a circular motion with each strand to get them all off.

Rob, take a look at this video: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...plete-tear-down-dis-assembly.html#post3741591

Check the O-ring underneath the atty.

I've had good success on one of mine by taking the wick plate off, then burning the bottom end of the wick in a flame on a stove. I've done this 3 times on it (still using the original factory wick).

rob, can you tell me the type of juice, from where and what flavorings, also i actually have a mod for your issue but you shouldnt need to mod it.

Please understand that when china makes a new carto, especially tanks systems, they do so according to their ejuice, their pg and their vg blends which are thinned a tad. There is more then one type of juice they test but its pretty much all the same in perofrmance, they dont take into account juices from around the world as they invented ejuice basically.

So if the few having issues and know it could be the juice, since they dont soak even in fillers like you mentioned, let me know what it is, i can have that juice sent to them along with other juices to see what can be done for the future.

I'm using blue mist vaping juice. 80/20 pg cherry ice juice, 10% flavor. thats the stuff that seems to leak, as I said, it doesn't leak so much as I guess just gets more and more unburned juice in there until it eventually starts flooding.

the other juice is extra flavor 15% peanut butter cup juice at 100%vg. I have one sapphire working okay with this stuff for the moment, but this was some cheap juice that I never should have bought, will not be messing with dark juice again.

Make sure the air tube, gasket, and slit in the metal wick holder all line up. Otherwise juice will fall directly into the air slit on the metal wick holder and leak out the bottom.

Both of mine leak with the 3 juices I use. Bounty Hunter from nitelite, Arnie Palmer from KBV, and white chocolate from you guys. They both leak from the base. The juice well on my mods fills to overflowing in just a minute or 2.

I am not upset or "......" just disappointed as this is just one more "latest and greatest" development to fail. I have bit three times now on greatness incarnate and got burned everytime. I think I am done with "new stuff" for awhile.

:p
