Sorry for my ignorance- In its un-modded state what is this used for and how does it tie into e-cigs

also- why would you want to mod this? (no sarcasm- Im trying to figure out what you could mod this thing into) is it used for mods for the usb?

After reading my post I sound like a total idiot- but hell I won't know unless I ask>

Un-modded, it doesn't really relate to e-cigs. You could use it as a battery source for a passthrough, I think, but that's about it. It's meant to be a backup charger for cell phones. It has an adapter for an iPhone, as well as a mini-USB adapter, and I believe you can order more from the company that makes them.

I'm trying to figure out if the guts are slim enough to fit inside a 2xAA box, because then you'd have a cheap and easy way to make a USB rechargeable box mod.

I think I've gotten to the bottom of this. It seems that the PPUMINI-K works as a 750mAh battery, and the PPUMINI-M works as a 650mAh battery. At my local store, the K was $20 and the M was $13. The bigger unit wasn't on sale here, so I guess it's just your local store, cod. Now I have to pick up another one and see if the smaller unit is capable of powering an atomizer for a full day.

I was at RadioShack today picking up the last of the clearance rcr123a 3v 400mah batteries and I saw the pack you guys are talking about (I think) they were 12 bucks- not sure which model- I was in a hurry. Anyways- so did you guys have success modding it? I would like to give it a try- but my modding skills aren't that good- (Ive built a NicoStick- thats it) Could a novice mod this?

i have had good sucess with this 2 mods made it is a tad wider than 2 AA batterys so a 2 AA box probably wont work. radio shack has a box fits it prity well. if you can get the unit apart then modding it is nothing just solder 2 wires from the + and - on the usb out port you can leave the port or take it off. the ones i got are all 500mA.
