My new toys I just got from the classies.

Telescoping evic bOd by Leo.

And a genesis lv. Besides that fact that it is 9 feet long and looks ridiculous I love it. A vape as good as an aga that I can take with me and does not leak

Anyone have a suggestion on a place to pick up some batteries, charger, and possibly a did clone and/or rsst, and maybe an igo-type dripper? I like to keep my online orders consolidated to both save shipping and to help with the possible cc fraud. Oh, and some wick and wire. Thanks.

How can an rsst be a dud? Was it broken? Did he let Eric know about it? He is a good guy to deal with.

Eric is awesome and would never doubt that.
Well my bud wrapped it about 20 times with all different gauge wire and all different amounts of wraps.. Each time it wouldn't post over .7. Eric credited his account.
Took it apart, cleaned it, filed down the connection because it was sharp but nothing helped any.

This might not be popular, but I would get my batteries and charger from FastTech using PayPal. It took 7-8 days for them to deliver from China, believe it or not. Their prices are super hard to beat for what they carry, and shipping is free. They don't sell the RSST, AG series, IGO, or anything of "quality" in the rebuildable category yet. You'll have to look elsewhere for those things.

The prices at Hoosier Vapes on the IGO and RSST (with drip tip) are pretty good, but all I've bought from them is spare RBA parts bags, SS drip tips, and a SS Phoenix V4 (they had exactly what I needed). Much like the ProTank, there is an ongoing price war for the RBA/RDA's you are looking for. Sales on those things happen often, finding a one stop shop with the best prices and stock on both items you asked about might be hard. You may need to compromise in some way. Good luck with your hunting sir.

Thanks Schnarph. I used Fasttech for my VAMO as the price was unbeatable. I just hate to order batt's and charger from them and not have them for when my VAMO gets here. :)

I have noticed that everyone seems to be price-warring over the RBA's, and will be spending the next couple of hours shopping and trying to figure out what I want to get.:unsure::matrix:

FastTech's new deal on a Vamo with a Nitecore charger and 2 panasonic batteries probably ticks you off as much as it does me. I bought all those things separately for $17 more just in the last month thanks to necessity and impatience. At some point, a price can't get any lower before the item in question is either obsolete, out of production, or hit rock bottom. (So says the man using Windows XP on a freebie hand-me-down computer ;))

I would lose my flesh and soul on the stock market. I'm not even good at being a consumer.

Just pulled the trigger on this mod. It's a VAMO Shrink Gold Edition with custom HD skin.
From our friends at Simply Mods Creations

I received mine a few days ago. It required some alterations to fit my specs, but I'm a perfectionist having built one myself a few months ago. Considering it cost half what I paid the machinist for mt first one, it's worth it. When you get it, if you have any issues or questions, post them here and I'll show you what I did. I now have two modded Vamos and love them. The good thing about the one you bought is that it will fit larger diameter tanks like the Terminator without hitting the battery cap. My first one didn't have that clearance.

That's good to know about the larger tanks. How do they feel in your hand? I'm worried it's gonna be a monster to grip. Is it much wider & thicker than the Vmod or REO?

Very compact and comfortable. It has weight but not too much.

Can I ask, what alterations did you need to do to it and does it require any special tools to do?

Some tanks like the Portank had trouble making full contact with the positive pin of the Vamo due to the top plate adding another 1.5mm distance. To negate this, I sanded 2mm of material off of the top of the Vamo. I did not sand down the 510 connector, only the ss around the well. I also sanded a roughly equal amount of material from the battery tube, making sure that the two parts of the Vamo were the same height when finished (so the plates fit level). The result of this essentially raises the 510 connector a little higher through the plate hole allowing better contact with certain devices which may have shorter threading. That was the biggest mod I did. I opted to rip out the solder job rataplan did and wired it all myself. Rataplan chose to epoxy the contact inside the bottom plate. This wasn't acceptable because if I decided to polish the plate, I couldnt, as it would be permanently attached to the Vamo by the positive lead. Instead I created an insulated, removable contact piece. I made this with a rubber washer and layers of liquid electric tape. If I want to clean the aluminum pieces, I can take out the contact from its seat. Wait until you get it and see if you have any issues. I will be glad to walk you through options with pictures, but its better if you have the mod in front of you so you know what I'm referring to. The fix I formerly described can be done with a Dremel and a grinding attachment.

Awesome Schnarph! Have fun vaping your head off out there!

Off to search for someone to give me stuff. :D
I got it because it was broken. The 510 connector lead wires were both pulled completely off the circuit board. The previous owner had no hope of fixing it themselves. I also gave them a substantial PIF in return, so it wasn't exactly "free".

This Smok Zmax is hitting much harder at the same wattage using the same battery than my Vamo does. I find this very interesting. I definitely prefer the Vamo menu and 2 extra buttons though.
