I've never been a fan of stacked batteries. So, I don't have the data to compare it to. Theoretically you would get longer life out of stacked 18350's (800mah x 2) vs a single 18500 (1100mah x 1) but you're not going to see any gain unless you plan on running them in a high volt configuration, which you won't do.

I've heard people complaining about stacked 18350's from the SVD reviews. Add your name to the list. Think I'll just stick with the 18500's. Thanks for the info Dust. I'm waiting for that dude to return from wherever he is. Should be early next week. I need him to recommend a charger for me too. I need to find me a little travel thingy to keep batts, attys, juice etc in. I feel like such a woman doing that but it is convenient.

I use an Ego Carrying case to carry my stuff around. Enough room in the medium sized ones to carry 3 spare batteries, bottle of juice and a spare Protank with a couple heads as backup just incase I need it.

As far as chargers, there are a few really good ones in the market. Intellicharger I2 and I4 have a good track record these days. I have a couple older Trustfire TR-003's that have been working just fine for me.

I also had some time to mess around with coil/wick setups last night so built 3 different setups.

K-Lite 1:
Standard 2mm micro with 30g. 9/10 wraps for 2ohm. 4mm silica wick. Loaded with DF.

K-Lite 2:
6/7 wrap on 2.3mm drill bit. 6/7 wrap of 30g. 5mm silica wick. This one is not a micro, ie I did not squeeze the coils closed. I found the micros gunk up faster with MOV's NET's. Hoping to see that this setup will be more resistant to gunking. Loaded with DF.. forgot to load with Southern Gentleman.

RSST:
3/32 cable wick with 2mm ID Ekowool sleeve above the deck. 3/4 wrap of tightly twisted 32g wire for 1.5 ohm. Running this on the Provari at 4.3v. Almost 12.5W of power..and she is hitting HARD! Loaded with Southern Gentleman.

Your K-Lite 1 is pretty much the same as mine. I just use 4 strands of 1mm silica Vs your single strand of 4mm (or is this stacked too?). Works great of DF!

Found an eGo carrying case but it was the large one and they're out of stock. they also had a nice Trustfire charger...out of stock.

I gotta tell you, the biggest PITA with vape gear is when you have a handful of things you need and you have to buy it from several vendors because no one vendor carries everything. Ever!!!!

Stacked.. 3mm silica with 1mm removed and then doubled. ;)

I don't have one. I'm waiting on your review of it.
David, I'm waiting for the general to get his SVD too so we can compare notes. So far the only gripe I have about mine is the location and positioning of the screen on it. Other than that the threading is much better than my Vamo but they perform the same and cost the same, better build quality for the money is on the SVD IMO.

I've switched to an almost complete 18500 setup. I've got 8 batteries in rotation. 4 in rotation with Provari's, and 4 with pipes. I don't get much time out the 18350's and find I have to carry 4 with me when going out for the whole day. My vote: 18500. I'm slowly phasing out my 18650's and will not be replacing them once they die which could be another year or so.. still have 4 of those.
    Dusty what's the advantage of 500's over 650's ?

I saw Busardo's review on the SVD and he griped about the screen placement as well. He loved everything else about it though.
