On the negative end.

I know that the fuse is more a security blanket at this point and probably not needed with the gear I am running... getting a hard short with an rda takes effort and I'm not anywhere near the limits of my batteries.

They (fuses) are more like training wheels for most, but they're a good practice for those new to mechs and RBAs. Since they don't allow for ultra sub-ohm coils, I don't bother with them. Battery safety and proper coiling techniques is your best defense against mishaps. I experienced a hard short with a Kayfun (of all things) this summer. The mod button instantly got extremely hot and I knew what that meant. After putting the mod down and away for a minute, I opened it up. The battery was real hot, but it hadn't vented. When I opened the Kayfun up, the positive part of the deck had rotated and was in contact with the chimney wall. That's what caused the hard short and now I always make sure all necessary screws are fastened and all wires secured and tucked away. $h!t happens. It didn't take any effort on my part to cause that. Just the teensiest bit of ignorance is all it takes. That's why I always cringe when I see vaping newbies (let's call them pups) chasing clouds with FastTech batteries and bargain-barrel Smok mods. We're already facing a nation wide ban again. What do we think is going to happen when some teenager starts a fire in chem class? OK, I'm ranting again. Back to my cave.

Thanks for your advice guys.

I am on the notification list at VapeRev for the KFL. I am considering preordering a Russian 91 as well. No guaranteed delivery, which I think is pretty silly, and making me hesitant.

But I am sold on getting both. I cannot wait to experience the difference all you guys are raving about.

Just watched both PB vids and the 2nd was hilarious LOL. What a piece of CRAP!!! The 1st gave me an idea to try to order straight from the horse's mouth, so to say - I ordered a KayFun Mini direct from Svoemesto's web site as iTaste,de was out of stock for 2 weeks. Cost me 3,300 RUB plus 500 RUB in shipping!!! What a deal!!!

In case you're wondering, 3,800 RUB is about $118.84 US! That includes shipping to Thailand. Saved about $30 I think. Just keep your fingers crossed that it goes under the radar at customs. Positive thoughts now everyone. :D Think that it is in my hands already, without any problems. Like this: "Chakris (aka Chris Pf) in Bangkok, Thailand is now the proud owner of a KayFun Mini V2.1. and it is in his possession now!" That is your mantra. Repeat it as often as you can. TIA :D

Maybe you're ranting but it is necessary. I too worry about people bargain basement shopping. Furthermore, I do not trust Chinese products. They make crap! This is a deadly combination looking for a place to have an accident.

Did that come with 2 stainless tank sections?

I just received my Russian 91% again, the first ones air flow control hole wasn't threaded. This one is perfect. I just assembled it and it is now taking an alcohol bath to remove the machining oil. 28g micro coil is wrapped and ready to go in it :)

No, what you're seeing is the Twins for my Provari mini. The regular extended cap is starting to show some wear, and I figured the Twins would dress it up nicely with the KLite on top..

Huh? You lost me Dust.

On the train, so look up Twins for Provari on google. It's a threaded extension cap that let's you use the Provari mini with either the 18500 or 18650 battery in addition to the 18350 battery.

Oh cool, it looks like the finish is a perfect match with the Kayfun :)

I need to get my hands on a provari mini. I had a chance when I traded my EPM but sadly I chose to trade it for a Noble 1 :( which then got traded for 2 MKB-TS's, then 1 of them got traded for a 14500 Sprite with a Euphoria and some other titanium atty and they all just collect dust lol

Sad! I think Mpicc is the only one I know of that got rid of his Provari to go to an all mech setup. I cannot do without my Provari's...

Yeah I couldn't give up my provari either. Besides my Kayfun 3.1 it's the best vape purchase I have made :)

I don't know what I was thinking even trading the EPM, now I miss it
