I just realized how much the mini protank 2 mutes flavors. I ran some HHV juice through my new elego mini bcc and it feels about 3 times stronger than with the kangers.

It's those darn stock heads. The only way to enjoy the Protanks are to rebuild the heads before using.

I need to pass along a "thank you" to those of you that encouraged and shamed me into buying a rebuildable.

I've now bought 3 of the HCigar Kayfun 3.1's and they are all I want to use. I've got 1.8 - 1.9 ohm coils with cotton wicks going in all three and they are working great.

The flavor is better. They don't leak. Dry burning and re-wicking is dead simple.

I'm waiting for VapeRev to get the genuine KFL+ in stock so I can buy the real thing. I'd like to have a mini (to use on top of my Twists and Spinners), but I heard SM is discontinuing those. May have to look in the classifieds here.

you may be really suprised when you find out that the real one and the clone perform the same and then wonder about the cost difference.

The quality of my real Kfs is much better than any of my clones. The performance is close but i much prefer the real deal

BK, I don't blame you for purchasing the clones, but at the end of the day, they are still counterfeit products that are a slap in the face of hard working folk that have designed/created them. I'd rather not get into an ethics argument here but suffice to say that I support what Pappy is doing, where he has confirmed more than once that he likes the product and is now paying tribute to it's creator by purchasing an original.

I don't know how to do it yet. I have a friend who is a machinist. I was thinking about asking him to sit down with me for a first try at it. I don't have drill bits to measure the coil wraps, but knitting needles should work. Size 00 knitting needles are 1.75 mm and Size 0 knitting needles are 2 mm.

I like the mini as well Pappy , like the different configurations , I've seen some speculation about a replacement for the 3.1's as in maybe a KF 4.0 , I don't really like the location of the AFC on the KFL + , SM probably wanted distance between it and the R91% , I'd really like to see a new KF cause I kinda consider the KFL + a compromise IMO .

This needed a second response since I can't edit my posts , Pappy I wish you had posted this on the big thread , might've given Hula a little incentive to get her situation resolved , I think this is what she wanted to hear from you . :)

you have a point but here is an analogy... in fact it happened today when I was giving an estimate...
The gentleman I was doing the estimate for had a new fence going in along one side of his property ( 75' worth) and 2 new gates being installed. I asked him how much he was paying for the fence and gates. His reply... 3000$. I would have done it for 1600$. Same work, same materials, same method. Once I told him my price, he about hit the floor. Materials costs would run approximately 800$, so then you figure out the labor... 800 for me to do it in 1 day or 2200 for the other guy to do it in one day.... who is ripping off who in this case...
and how many of yall make 2200$ in a day? ( I sure dont and never will charge that much for labor for 1 day) and if you had a choice would you hire them or me??

All things being equal, I'd hire you.. But let's say, you created a custom fencing setup for $800 and then another company copied your design and undersold you for 1/2 price to your customer, would you be ok with it?!
