Yea. I have read similar comments about primers and that may have been the case. Probably need to clean them before using another new one. Although the first 2 did not have this happen.
From time to time 73. Sometimes these manufacturers use primer in them to keep out corrosion. Not as much as they used to. Might be that.

Who knows. These Chinese are so unpredictable. You'd like to think you got all three from the same batch but then they probably throw all of them in a barrel and mix them up.

Wish we could roust up Biv. Haven't seen him in a couple days. I'm about ready for the rectangle myself.

Whoa, dozed off there. How much we talking about? don't know if I could handle it with just doing the Vmod XL

Update: Ok, watched the PBusardo review and the price isn't set yet - maybe, what did Phil say, $18? I could probably handle one or two of those at that price. They do look nice and I like the fact that they hold a bit more juice and that you can change the atty's not the whole base. Since I'm not really hurting for any new equipment and quite satisfied with the stuff I have now, I'm gonna wait till they come out on the mainstream.

I do need to get some new atty's for the T3's I have (or practice recoiling & re-wicking them). However, for that I need more DIY supplies. It's always something, isn't it?

What are they using on those T3, Evod, and ProTanks 1mm silica? Do they all use the same size wicks? From what I've seen from cleaning mine and watching the video, they look the same.

Geez, now that I'm all caught up I see they have the T3 heads and Evods on the coop too. This changes things drastically!!!
Ok, gotta read up on how to get into the CoOp...

In case I miss it, put me down for:

2 ProTAnks + 10 heads
2 Evods (black) + 10 heads
10 T3 heads

Let's see how it goes... so first, I'm a verified member do I also have to verify with coops?

Make sure you take out the top wick (and only the top one). The top two wicks tend to stick together when you pull the stem out, and if you take two out it can flood up the works. When you do it right, it is the tastiest vape I have ever had. I have not used the Protank yet, but PB says it is just like the BCC Mega (the heater looks identical) and let me tell you I am one happy camper with it. The Protank looks bad to the bone, does it not?

Coop is not yet live. Keep an eye on the thread for it to go live. There's a LOT of good folks on there now, and Hibi is apparently one of the best when it comes to coops.

As for the T3's, I rebuild mine using 3mm silica wick. Just need one strand of it.. and done! No leaking etc.

Yep Hibi did me right last round. Now I have a bunch of T-3s and extra heads I won't ever use lol (I'm not into the adapter, looks goofy).

Now, the BCC Mega. I don't recommend trimming the silicone cap; flood city. Removing a wick, so far so good. Flavor wise, in a side by side comparison to my low ohm AGA-T+, both with DF, big difference. Still, for a clearo tank, I like it. That little tube was hell to get out though, to remove a wick.

Wait till it goes live, Chak. You are on track, buddy. If I see it go live, I will PM you right away. Dusty is in, too. I think I saw Xfoo in there as well.

Yeah, I saw Dusty and XFoo in there - Buggs as well. These prices put Health Cabin to shame! Hope I don't get killed with shipping. With this coop, I can get my whole HC order covered. Next all I need is.... bwahahahaha!!! Some more wire and silica wick to practise on re-wicking those AGA T2's and get them going.

I think the T3 have the same wicks - I pulled the tube off some of those after cleaning so I could see how clean/gunked up the coils were and also watch as I dry burned them cleaner. Amazingly, most were pretty clean and this was only the second time cleaning them in the month that I've been using them! definitely need to recoil next wash.

Hmm. I was gonna go with 3 strands of 1mm. Now you have me wondering again. Dang it Dusty! ;)

The T3's weren't too bad to separate - bit of a bugger to get back in, though. ;)

Edit: Thanks a lot for all the input gang!

The trick with the tube removal is to rock it side to side while providing steady solid pressure to pull out. I have done it a few times now and it works very nicely, very nice vape quality for a clearo. Much better than any other I have used.

I was also bitterly disappointed in both.

Sold all my T3s and MT3s as soon as they hit my supply box. The heads were too bulky and tough to rebuild without using forceps. I kept the Evods because they look a lot nicer and are easy to rebuild. The Protank will behave the same as the Evod. Gurgling issues are due to several factors and unfortunately are a risk with this type of BCC. Thickness (or thinness rather) of juice, liquid level in the tank, the removal (or not) of the top flavor wick(s), and how hard you draw all play a part in potential flooding issues. I think I have it down.

Here's a silly little vid about combating gurgling issues with the Protank and other Kanger BCC
