Well, if you're going to recharge halfway through the cycle then it wont be all over the map. Drain it to the end and you will. It'll go from 4.2 volts to 3.3 volts. A 650 mah will give you only a couple/few hours of heavy vaping if you plan to recharge at 3.9 volts. More , of course with an 18650.

I can't really speak for others, but I do think many that use mechs exclusively rarely go below 3.7 anyway. I vape until I notice a change of performance, and that's at around 3.7-3.8 for me.

And when I'm getting 7-8 hours out of 18650 and it's still at 3.9, I'm more than happy. Now I don't chain vape obviously. :)

That's what I would do too Blix. I'd probably use up 50 - 75% then recharge. Kinda defeats the purpose but is worth it to maintain a decent vape. And i you don't chain vape it is even less of a problem as you say.

Mabye I will place that order soon. Damn you guys and all of your info and all these options!!

Someone (I think it was jw, posted a nice sale at 101Vapes for a Seglei 8w mech. He thought it was Seglei's better mods and with the coupon code it was really cheap. Look a page or two or three previous to this one for the info. I looked it up and it is tempting. I would use a mech for my AGA only and go subohm.

Man, that's crazy! I had my Kayfun Lite in my hands in three days, but mine didn't have to travel that far! :)

I truly don't believe it honestly but that's what FedEx says. Heeck I don't even have silica yet. If it gets here I'll do a cotton wrap.

Yep. 101vape.com coupon code summer12. Ended up being 27.50 shipped for the sigelei 8w. I can't get over how awesome this thing is too. Just when I about give up on sigelei they make this and totally redeem themselves.

Thanks X. I was thinking of coiling up a single strand of 3mm cotton. Don't know if it will fit it the slot without filing it out but I'll look at it.

Bronze, the 3mm wick will fit in the slot, or at least I've seen it used in the big ProTank without the flavor wicks (see link below). I didn't have 3mm, so I used 2.5 that I did have on hand and that works as well. However, I did use another 1.5mm as a flavor wick.

On my T3 heads I used 1.5mm folded double and I'm having slight trouble with gurgling and flooding, so I'll need to add a flavor wick with those as well. When I put it in, I plan to unwind the 3 strands so that it fills in the gap evenly.

With a mechanical mod the voltage isn't around 3.7 at all for most of your vaping time, hey I usually charge my batteries when they come down to 3.8v.

As an example, may daily work mod is my Reo Grand. I leave home with a freshly charged 18650 at 4.2 volts, and when I come home 7-8 hours later the battery usually is at 3.9. So the majority of vaping is done between 3.9-4.2volts, and definitely not all over the map. :)
Today I brought a second mod with me, but used the Grand most of the time, the battery is now 4.05v still.

With smaller batteries like 18490 and 18350's you'll need to change more often of course, but the Panasonic 18650's I use have amazing performance.

That's about what I do with my Mvod, but I usually let it get down to 3.6 - 3.5 before recharging. :D

I have used 3mm silica to do a pro tank head and it works WAY better then stock. And only a single strand. No flavor wicks. And it's maybe a 40/60 cut if juice.
