But but... Your older and have more time then me. That's a joke BTW. Your prolly even more busy day to day then I am. I consider anything not rebuildable or mech a PITA now. Just have extra batteries on hand.

I've been using my 1.4mm screwdriver since its tiny and solid to wrap the coil.
I just wet the cotton and twisted to slide thru. I'm learning patience in leaps and bounds these days.

You get lazy and impatient with gadgets as you get older. I'm often quoted yelling, "Just work dammit!"

Before VV batteries, you controlled the wattage by the resistance of the atty you were using. It was feeble but the only way before VV. VV has made life nice. Screw the mechs unless you are going subohm. They have their place. Or as some here have done, they use the top end of the charge on their mechs so they know they are burning at 3.8 - 4.2 volts and match the resistance accordingly to their preferred vape range. They just have to recharge their batteries more frequently. Kind of a PITA for my lifestyle but that's just me.

Hope that made sense. :)

Wow. Great post. That really kinda put a few things into perspective. Gonna look at a few cheap VVs and see what I come up with. I know the Vamo is pretty inexpensive. The damn mechanicals are so pretty, but I think that with the clearo that I use a VV would be much better suited. Thanks Bronze! :)

I have a Vamo V3, like it a lot...I also have a vision spinner 1300 as a secondary/backup, like that a ton too.

I am eyeing a bottom feeding box mech currently... for the simple fact that I really like the taste of dripping attys but would get sick of dripping ask the time. Only hesitation besides the price is I am at the mercy of the battery voltage... There is a VV version of the mod, but it is hella expensive.

I have to look around more fire a good, relatively inexpensive, VV, bottom feeding box mod... hope there's one out there

Look for a Reo Grand in the classifieds. With a good 18650 in a Grand you get hours and hours of great vapes before you notice any drop of voltage at all. I use one every day. :)

I've been looking... most are pretty much selling at full price. I'll scan the scratch and dent area on reosmods.. saw a .... ugly green that had some nicks for a good discount... I couldn't care less how it looks, it's how it vapes.

Fav stuff.. Sold my provari today and bought a titan on modtrader in it's place. I'm all but done with vv. Its going to a good home as it's going to a friend who I'm trying to help really kick it up a notch in vaping.

Just got a new toy. Didn't know if I would like a mod this small but it is very nice and hits hard.

I've been eyeing the Simplicity. I have a Bagua and I get inconsistent firing plus a really wobbly button. How is the button on the Simplicity (throw, tension, stability, and consistency)?

Throw, consistency, and stability are 10 out of 10. Very excellent. Tension of the spring is a little light imo. You have to use the locking ring to set it down or it will fire. Not a big deal but I took a old rsst top spring and worked it open and used it instead. Much stiffer and can set it down without firing.

The button is not wobbly what so ever. Fires hard each and every time.

Hey rebuildable peeps. I'm in need of some ekowool. Only have one device that needs it so maybe 10 feet.
Vapedoctor has some but I'm not sure the prices I should be looking for.
Silica is already in the garbage. It's nasty so I want to try something other then cotton.

Whoa, ten feet for one device - ought to last you till the end of the decade, MrP. By the time you use up a foot of it there'll be something new and better to use. :D

Actually, thinking about getting some more myself. Which is better for just plain wick, hollow or threaded?

I decided since its basically silica I'd stick with cotton. I just enjoy the flavor.

Also if anyone checks my fb page share that crap. I can't post to clsssies on mobile so the deal is there for now.
