Hey... been pondering picking up a rba soon... looking at two.. an AGA-T2 or a RSST... leaning to the RSST... anyone have any thoughts? I haven't tried any SS wicks yet, guess there's no harm in learning. Can any of these use silica wicks? Just asking since SS wicks seem like a bit of a pain to get right.

I prefer the RSST for an inexpensive genesis atty over the AGA-T2. It's less finicky to set up and I rather like the aesthetic of the tank and cap. Most tend to agree on these points, but the AGA, when set up properly is a good workhorse with the benefit of a glass tank. Most genesis attys can be set up with silica or cotton wicks. The AGA has a second raised negative post for that very application. If I had to buy only one, it would be the RSST. But who buys only one of anything around here?

Funny y'all mention Christmas...just ordered my son's first Christmas gift. A Walking Dead 2014 wall calendar. He has gotten one every year since it began. I'm looking at 2013 now on our office wall. Gory stuff.

Does he play the walking dead game on Xbox? I've had that game for awhile and just played it for the first time not too long ago. Seems like a pretty fun game

I just asked him and he starts talking 90 miles an hour about there are two games and one is made up and one's about Darryl....then I got a little dreamy thinking about Darryl...and then he keeps talking and I veg out at that point. :D So yes I guess the answer is yes. He's playing Minecraft right now...and he had to remind me that it's Minecraft and not Mindcraft a few times. But what he doesn't know is the minute I realized me incorrectly saying it a couple of years ago bothered him.....I just keep saying Mindcraft to bug him and make me laugh hysterically.

I think I'll go in there in a minute and tell him to not stay up too late playing Mindcraft and see what he says.

He just said one is called The Walking Dead Survival Instinct and the other one you download off the dashboard. I haven't forgotten the PS3 games for you. He just said we'll go through them soon and figure out which ones he doesn't want and I'll let you know. ;)

SS mesh wicks aren't really hard to do at all. It took less practice for me than learning to rebuild a Vivi Nova. SS Mesh wicks will spoil you though.

I may try silica/cotton on my AGA. The SS wicks are too finicky and truthfully doesn't impart as much flavor as the silica in my Phoenix. Can't hurt to try silica. It works great in a simple Phoenix RBA.

I wish I could say that GT. I have no problem building SS wicks...I just can't keep the resistance from climbing. And while the flavor is most excellent, it is not quite as good as in my simple Phoenix RBA with silica. I'm thinking my Genny AGA is best suited on a mech going subohm. Takes too long for the coil to fire at 1.5 ohms. I'll keep the Genny until I get around to picking up a mech. I wish I had your Did clone.

Didn't think about a Phoenix... I'll take a look. Right now, I'm using a little Smok RDA, simple little thing, easy to wick and use. I was thinking about going to something with a tank to go with my attys and the RDA.

If you can afford it get a Kayfun or a Kayfun light, they are absolutely amazing silica atties. Very easy to set up too.

There is a clone called The Russian (Kayfun Clone) and The Russian 91% (Kayfun light clone) I've heard they perform just as well but I can't say for sure, mine won't be here for another month or so
