First impression of SVD: Seems pretty nice. It works. Solid construction that I can tell. A busy mid-section with all the buttons clustered close to each other. And it's freakin' tall! But it isn't bulky like a VAMO. Lightweight for how tall it is. Need to get my 18500's and shorten this baby up.

What's the signal when it's time to change the battery?

Glad to see you got it Bronze, the fire button will turn red when the batteries low. Kinda hard to see when you got your finger on it.

Nah, I do think it's a better value for a lower end mod if they moved the screen it'd be damn near perfect IMO.

Yeah, it seems like it will be an excellent mod. It does get busy around the screen with all those buttons. But they give you the lockout feature so not all is bad. It's really tall but with the thinner section atop it's not bulky. It seems well built.

Yeah I haven't absentminded, accidentally managed to change the settings on the SVD, somehow I accidentally got the Vamo up to 15 watts, that woke me up LOL !

I think Chak and David are waiting on your review .

Actually, I wouldn't be buying one soon even if it got 5 stars from the General. Just made payment on the provari using a friends American CC and waiting for notification that the payment was indeed accepted this time.

I ordered the satin blue with the extension cap and the Pila Charger. Out the door at around $306 US.

Since I also fixed the problem with the intermittent firing of the VAMO by changing the cap spring, I'll not be buying anything else till New Year at least. Well, maybe I'll get the Kayfun Mini for X-mass, but other than that, I'm finished buying mods and accessories for the year.
