I got a reply from ST and they said they would ship my replacement ASAP. We'll see. It would be nice if they got it out before they close down for the holiday (whatever holiday it is).

Wonder why the Chinese are so good at delivering food and so bad at delivering mail , maybe Chinese chefs have something to do with it , I saw a Chinese chef run a waitress out of the kitchen at a local restaurant , just like watching a Bruce Lee movie , of course I was rooting for the chef but the waitress escaped , dinner and a movie LOL !Can't have that. I think England returned Hong Kong to China , one of the provisions was the government wouldn't interfere with business there , the place is a cash cow , they'd have to be nuts to screw that up .
If they can't get the stuff to ship, why shell out payroll? That's just my assumption. 'Holiday' in the UK just means vacation. The auto industry does it too. I worked for JCI (they make the headliners, digital mirrors, bunch of other car stuff) & we shut down for 2 weeks every summer. The auto manufacturers were shutting down for the transition between model years, so we got the same time off.
Yeah, I know the Euro's call any off day "holiday". I worked with a sister company in Holland and they had their annual shutdowns. Seems those people never worked over there and you could never fire anyone no matter how bad they were.
But honestly, I've never bought anything from them so I really don't know where they're located (other than they sell Chinese built clones) or anything else. I don't buy clones at all, so I really don't worry about it too much.
Their in Hong Kong used to be british territory , they ship quick enough usually but the postal system sucks , I told Bronze to get on the case with the SVD 3 weeks ago , he was depending on USPS to notify the Chinese , that's the blind leading the blind .

I know but it hinges on USPS notifying FT that you returned your old SVD , I trust them as much as much as the Chinese , zero percent , I've had orders from HHV show as still in Georgia when they were in my mailbox , that's why I would've notified FT myself you can't leave it to chance if you have my luck .

It ought to hinge on ST looking at the package with the RMA number they make you put in the address line of the return package. Why have an RMA number if they don't use it? Passing it off to USPS is ST's idiocy if that is how they do it.
I would be surprised if they do. The 14xxx mod is a niche market. It sold out fast on Atmommixani.gr though.
