They've said they'll have some in their online store when they come in, but this is one of those times when I almost wish I was still in my old home town (I grew up in Cerritos near where vape Revolution is now). If they have multiples in the store, don't tell me, lest I try to bribe you. :p
vape Rev doesn't have an online store yet. The guy at the shop said that the Chi_You will be in at the end of the month and that they will announce a couple of days prior on their Facebook page.

Yeah, according to the guy I've been talking to, they're planning on having the store up before the next batch comes in. Specifically, as of a couple days ago, "We should be receiving 2 orders this month, and you will be able to purchase one through our webstore. Our webstore will be active this coming week."

Just hoping it's not another one of those fruitless sessions with the F5 key. :)

I got the same info. Listen, if you're serious about picking one up and the online thing sells out in an instant, let me know and I'll drive down to Cerritos and pick one up for you. Keep in touch.

I'll definitely be giving it a shot... but as much as I appreciate the offer, having done it myself for a lot of years, I'm not sure I could, in good conscience, subject anyone to that traffic. There are a lot of things I miss about living down there, but that ain't one of 'em. :)

I will most likely be going down there in order to get a Chi_You for myself. Catching a web sale for less than 100 units available seems more stressful than taking the the 605 fwy. If that's the case, I'm your huckleberry.

As you can see, I am using a 510 to 510 sealed adapter between my Lavatube and the Nova. I want to keep the 510 to 510 on my Mod at all times so as to protect the threads from getting worn down (that's what happened to my previous LT). I'd rather screw up the adapter threads and not the mod threads. However, it looks dopey. Any suggestions to pretty this up? Are there adapters that look better than this?

I wouldn't bother with protected batteries. They aren't rated for high drain applications, so they won't work with boosted vv mods which require high drain batteries. They also won't work with a Kick which also requires high drain IMR batteries. AW IMR batteries are the highest rated safer chemistry batteries out there. They rate a maximum of 10amp drain limit. You would never come close to that. I wrapped a 0.8ohm coil and with a fresh battery pushed 5.1 amps. A protected battery will never let you get that high but a good IMR can handle the amps no problem. Efest IMR are also a high rated battery and a bit cheaper, but the pros will still recommend AW as the go-to choice for quality. For a mechanical, go with AW IMR, charge your batteries often, get a Vape Safe fuse or a Shortstop fuse if you want extra protection. You won't regret it.

I've been having the same kind of questions floating around in my brain as smitighe in regards to batteries lately. We both got one of the “Natural” mechanical mods around the same time. Before the natural and a GGTS clone, all of my mods I’ve had where variable voltage and variable wattage (Vamo’s, Tesla, ex) mods that come with internal protection which prevents the device from firing a battery that is to depleted. Since they all have internal protection I’ve always purchased non protected high drain IMR batteries. But I’ve heard that with mechanical mods, if you use unprotected batteries that you risk discharging the battery to much which could risk the possibility of thermal runaway.

I’m new to all mods in general (about 2-3 months) so I’m not too familiar with the different types of issues that could arise and different types of batteries. But from your post it sounds like my unprotected high drain IMR batteries I’ve been using in my VV\VW mods will work just fine in my mechanical mods. And the addition of a Vape Safe fuse should keep my mind at ease and stop any possible issues from a badly coiled RBA.

Dang Bronze, that's ugly. Bet you could find some kind of sleeve at the hardware store if nothing else.

This TV YJ LT (cripes, only GT could know what that is) is shorter than my HHV YJ LT. There's no drip well on this new one. I stripped the mod skin off the old one and put it on the new one. A few wrinkles and stretch marks but good enough. Man,these YJ LT's burn hot. I have it all the way down to minimum setting and it's still too hot. Think I need to get some resistance in my attys. 3.5 or more. Has to be the pulse width mod.

Yeah...just no. I agree it's fugly. I have no idea what to get as a sleeve though...I use the thread sleeves from gotvapes on my twists and mech mod. I have that exact lamp! Mine is so old that it's bent and crooked. I use it in the basement by my ironing board. :D

The skirt would just sit there and not be screwed on? Nothing to screw it onto that I can see. Bronze?

The skirt would screw onto the 510 to ego. I did that with my rider robust for the short time i owned it.

I just ordered 6 batteries. 2 AW IMR 18650's 2 AW IMR 18350's 1 AW protected 18650 and an Efest protected 18350. I was just gonna order 3 batteries but the confirm order button got pushed mistakenly. HAHA I should be good for a while now. I needed batteries anyway so what the heck was I waiting for. I was actually thinking of trading my Provari for a Mini. I like smaller mods. I love my provari don't get me wrong. The thing is super bad a**. But I get bored with things very quickly.
