And just like that..
Got me a reo GRAND and a bunch of other things..
Good bye Silver bullet.
Guess I'm getting back into RBAs...

A Grand or a VV Grand ? The first Grand is a mechanical, just rinse it off and let it dry to clean. Can't do that with the VV Grand. I hope you enjoy it ! I really like the durablity of a REOS 'cause I tend to be hard on stuff anyways....

It's the 2.1, that takes an 18490/18500. Did you mean 2hours? 12 hours would be rather good! ;)

The 2.1 also have a larger drip well, so you can use all the popular Reo rba's on it.

I cannot imagine getting 12 hours from a 14500, myself. I can get through an 8 hour day at work - but my work means I am not able to vape except for at breaks, lunch and to and from work. If I'm at home and chain vaping - 2 hours (maybe)

I specifically wanted a straight up mechanical so avoided the VV. I'm a LR kind of guy anyway and so I stayed with my comfort zone.

For you guys who use Vivi Novas, is it possible to re-wick an existing coil? I've got some coils that are working fine, but the wick is shot.

If it's possible, what size/diameter wick do I need to get? I'd prefer silica over cotton because I like to dry burn when I clean.

It might be possible Pap, but pert near impossible. If you can somehow remove and replace your wick while keeping the coil intact (and not shorting) then you should become a surgeon. No matter what you do, check the resistance on your Provari first so you know you don't have any unsafe shorts. Your Provari has short protection. As for wick, the standard nova's come with aprox 1mm wick, four strands. But everyone's definition of 1mm is different so compare your new wick with what is in it. If it's thicker, then reduce it to three strands.

I had been finding I was much happier with my low res cartos on a standard ego than much of anything else. The varitube with PWM and VV does vape nice, but....too heavy, it hurt my hands and thumbs from supporting it, if i vaped for very long. I still preferred low res at low VV. So there you have it...mechanicals are more than enough for my simple needs.

The BCC Mega ........
Pretty nice device. It's about the same size and aspect as a full size Vivi Nova, but that's where the similarities end.

The biggest difference is that the Mega is a bottom of coil.

Another difference is the connection. Threading is much better, and the positive post is solid and flat, as opposed to the Nova's slotted deal with a hole in the center.

It's light, due I think to the caps being aluminum. It must be removed from the mod and filled from the bottom.

It works good, but needed a little fiddling. At first, it was giving dry hits (with high VG juice). It would hit sorta ok with low volts and no chain vaping. Very unsatisfying. I considered removing a wick to help the juice flow, but chose instead to shave a tiny bit off the bottom of the silicone cap that sits on the coil head. Hits great now, if a tad gurgley when the tank gets low. I feel it may have no issue when using a thinner juice.

Overall, nice little tank. Looks nice too.

Buggs how fast was the shipping? If I order one I might get it before I leave if I pick express shipping. Heard too many good reviews and yours clinches it.

Hi Scarf-ace, you might want to read my appraisal here, where I compared REO and VMODs:

Post #42 and #43 I tried to be specific, as I have used both, and am not a fangirl type so either is fine depending on your druthers:

Never mind, Ice. I should read a bit further before asking questions.... My question was answered on the next page... lol

Anyways, I was hoping it wasn't Gotvapes, because they don't ship to Thailand. Guess I'll have to go with Bronze's site if I decide to get one. Or just wait till Health Cabin gets them in... I want an iClear 30 too! Decisions, decisions. and an evod....

Scarf-Ace mentioned once that she uses Boge cartos on her REOS, so a few weeks back I started a thread on the REOSMods section of the Suppliers Forum asking about just that. I was directed to Crystal Clear Vaping and the CCV 'Shorty' Cartos by several REOnauts. They were sold out so I went with the CCV 1.7 'Resurrector' cartos, and they work great on a REOS. Designed for 3.7V mods by a REOnaut, it is an outstanding little device to match up with a REOS. I think I got 15 for $22, seemed like a decent price. Just my :2c:

It would be 1 - 2 minutes. Maybe 150 - 200 Mb. why is it that when people send me vids it loads right away. I had someone send me a five minute vid (MOV type) and it didn't take any time. Upload vs download?

Bronze, 150 - 200 Mb might be too big for the e-mail. You might want to convert it to MP4 or MOV and maybe use smaller dimensions. I just tried to send a 2 min, 50 Mb, 720 × 480 (pixels) mov clip to myself and my email server was maxed out - it has a 23 Mb limit. :glare:

My advice would try to get it down to around 20 Mb. You may loose some quality but I believe most email services allow at least 20 Mb files.

Have you waved your Vamo today?

Waved mine yesterday and today with Bleeding Heart in a mini nova and just changed out for a fresh battery and some Clockwork Orange - that's what it ways on the label! Good stuff though! What's left of BH is going back on the Twist. :headbang: *Chak waves his Bamboo Vamo*

HEY peeps. I have a question and I'd rather ask it here then the reo section since it's still confusing..
Smitghe is sending me an a7 and I'm prolly gonna buy a second one. He's sending me wick but I'm gonna need wire in the future. For a reo grand, what strength wire should I be getting? Looking at Wick and Wire there are a bunch of options.
