Dumb Question for the Day ; Is there a way to adjust the Voltage on a ProVari Mini ? Only one button, no instructions...

5 button presses will get you to "Pu" - Power Up mode. Wait a second or two and it will show you the current level of power. Power is adjustable from 2.9v to 6v

7 button presses will get you to "Pd" - Power Down mode.

Those are the ones you will use the most.

The other one you may end up using is the "Ao" - Atomizer Ohms. This will check your Atomizer to tell you what Ohms the Provari is reading on your Atty.

I run my (one) REOS in that range all the time in a Cyclone. It has plenty of air flow to keep it cool enough - for me. And the Zenith I just built at .3 has huge slots for air flow to keep it relatively cool. Probably not big enough for the cloud chaser crowd, though. 1) I agree. I ran a KFL down to .9Ω once, but didn't like the result. The tri-coil Gus Estia is the only tank I use these days. It does fantastic at the .7Ω I typically have on it. But then, it has juice flow control and real AFC (I never considered the Kayfuns AFC to be useful). It doesn't leak when going from A/C to 90+ degree weather. And it's simple to close the JFC and AFC if I think there's any chance of leakage. 2) I agree. I usually have duals in my drippers, since they're easy to build and really taste good to me. But when I use MM or Zipper wire, one coil is good for me. Heck, that 0.3Ω, 6 wrap Zipper is HUGE! 3) I agree. While I enjoy the DNA30, I don't much care for it's limitations. It looks as if the DNA40 fixes all of the things I didn't like about the 30. And I can't wait to try one for that TC feature. All to often, I try to get just one more vape than I should on a drying wick. Rayon helps a lot in that respect, but I've been known to burn a rayon wick in half, too. I wondered about that, too. I might try one of those high watt regulateds, but there aren't any that are tugging on my wallet strings yet.
The Gus Estia is the one high end atty on my gotta have list , I'm jealous ! :) Since I well exceed 40 watts on some of my subohm builds , I've come to see the need for a device with more power than the DNA's are putting out , I was hoping Evolv was going to provide it with this last device but they kept it conservative , I'm a little disappointed since BK is sitting on some really nice wood for building mods with , and something in at least 75 watts as a minimum would really be sweet .

It was RBA's - not RDA's - Retic was talking about. I think he's referring to the Rose, since he's been pretty darn pleased with it overall. :)
Yup , you got that right ! The Rose is a beast , but ya gotta push it . Bimini mentioned the Gus Estia , that would be the S in devices . I've got my sights set on the Gus , and Yup Qorax's pictorial is to blame . :)
    I stand corrected. Sorry retic.
No problem , I was just letting Papaw know there are other atty's that upset the apple cart but they're not appropriate for a Provari . I do think the DNA40 would make a good replacement chip for a VV Grand though since the VV's aren't being made anymore .

    Norman, Ok
And I prefer the one button. Didn't think I would but I do.

I'm always wanting to fiddle with it... check volts/ohms... change the output etc. So a 3 button works quicker for me... A friend bought my Zmax from me because she liked a single button also... so I know it takes all types...

I always push the wrong button when I had my Vamo and Lavatube and it's even worse with this SVD. Then I can never figure out what combination of buttons to push for what function. One button operation is perfect for old, worn out, brain dead idiots like me. The day I can't find the one button is when I'll have the white coats haul me out and put me away. :)

Yea, as soon as I saw one of his Gus Lord pics, I thought I might want it. Then he started that whole thread and the Estia thread. Well, this pic should explain why I HAD to have it.

Oh! What have I been missing?! One of these days, soon, but after the Destin Fishing Rodeo, but before Christmas, maybe over Thanksgiving, or before that, or after, Ms Bimini and I are going to NOLA - I promised her earlier this year. Would love to see what you're conjuring up if/when that happens.

Too bad we won't see Rivers vs. Brees during regular season this year.

The SVD has the instructions laser etched on them but it doesn't stop me from pushing on the bottom of it after a vape session with my mechs . :)

I'm thinking the matte finish with the 510 adapter is my cup of tea , but I might pick up a mech with 20 x 1 threading just for it . :)

The Rose is on my wish list. But I have to stay away from Qorax's threads. I spent too much time today on the Erlkonigan thread, and now I'm fighting wanting one.

What build did you settle on for your Rose? I just ordered another Veritas to go with all those new flavors, and some 26 ga Kanthal to experiment with.
