Retic, it doesn't matter what topper I put on it, they all look good. I haven't been keeping up with JD Tech, but this switch is butter smooth. Probably won't be after I take it apart to see what they did lol, but it is nice.

Oh lol. A brother put the pieces back together for me when I was otr. It's as good as new. Am trying to work my way back to pick it up. Going to be in Clearwater fla for a few weeks and had intended to ride it down. Just going to have to dodge the snow on the way down. I'll put some pics up of it when I get to it again.

RJ and Calve you do have quite a nice collection going. Highs in the 20's today:( but the sun is shining so it will look warmer outside through the window.

We've been yo-yo'ing all over with the weather the last few days. Low 30's to high 60's and back down to low 30's today. This is what gets folks sick! :p

It's a different design from the regular Stingray switch , if you take a plain lead pencil and coat the bearing surfaces , ie the post the rice pin sits in and the inside of the ring that sits around it with graphite from the pencil before you put it back together it'll be slicker than snot . :) My X is my favorite mod now , easy maintenance and a dam hard hitter . That Ti is a sharp looking mech , always did like the look of titanium .

Got my second Infinite Rose in today , built with 8 wraps Gplat 24ga 2.4mm id coming in at .36 ohms and wicked with rayon . Filled with 100%VG Legend @ 24mg . Two hits and I've got the hiccups from the nic hit . Flavor is off the charts though .

Is the Gplat round like welding wire or is it reformed?

I remember getting curious about the Rose some time ago, and thought it was too expensive. Now that I have the Estia and Erlkönigin, I may have to rethink that. I am primarily a dripper/bf'er, but tanks do have their place in my rotations. Besides, I'm either going to PIF or sell 2 of my three KFs that are just collecting dust these days.

Man, I love/hate riding the wave of new technology. (I paid more than $5000 for my first CD-ROM burner and it was already 2X speed).

ETA: And that gplat sounds like fun stuff.
