I haven't commented on the KF4 thread but I will here . $200 shipped if not a little more is too much for me . I'll probably follow Dusty's lead and pick up an OEM Aqua V2 but I'm pretty damd happy with my Rose's at the moment so the KF4 is a noroll for me .

Have you tried the Orchid V4?

I wont pay $200 for the K4 either (if that is indeed the shipped price). I'm not seeing the extra value. I'll wait for the reviews and such but as it stands now it is way overpriced to my thinking. We'll see what the deal is with the Lite version when it comes out.

Not yet , it and the Lemo are possibilities as well .

The Lemo is pretty thin metal and there have been reports that it's cut people. Also, not a fan of the air-flow adjustment based on what I've seen of it. I'd recommend the ErlP instead of the Lemo for that price point.

I have no idea of the history of the Orichid's but at 10.77 for a RTA that I've tried and liked, I could not help but buy 2. :)

I like the look of it and the hybrid connection but I don't expect it will out perform some of the lesser priced competition enough to make it worth that amount of money .

Lightening Vapes cyber Monday code for 27% off is CYBERLV

Ed, my VF was $30 more than the P3 in polished. Just an FYI. I don't think $30 at that price point constitutes one being over priced and not the other. Just my 2 cents.

I realize that but when I first saw the pricing of the VF it still floored me nonetheless (it was by far the highest priced mod at that time). If anything, it helped soften the blow when I saw the pricing for the P3 when it came out.

I watched Todd's K4 review. Sorry, not for me. Not seeing the significant advantages for the price. At least not at first view. He wasn't doing somersaults over the vape quality. And $200 for that juice control so you can inspect your build without draining? Not seeing it. Build it right and you don't have to inspect your build. I never do. Ease of filling? I don't see where the K4 is an easier. Am I the only one who thinks filling the current KFLs is no big deal? I have to say, that K4 is going to scare off a lot of people. There are a whole lotta parts to that thing and a whole lotta fooling around to do and in the end I'm not getting the feeling the vape quality is much (if any) better than what I have now with my KFLs. I welcome anyone who disagrees.

The inspecting your build part, I get. It's not just for inspecting but rather for re-coiling too, something you cannot do with the current KFL without emptying the tank. The juice flow control will also come in mighty handy when flying. Pressure drops etc won't affect it if it's completely sealed off.

Why would you not recoil after you've vaped all the juice out? The K4 is for the hard core enthusiasts who want to monkey around. I've had enough building experience where I'm past the monkeying around phase. I build it, it works, and I don't need to look at it again until I'm ready to dry burn and change the wick. That always happens at the end of a tank when it's already drained. Just don't get it Dust. They want a hefty price for that thing and I'm simply not seeing any one thing that improves flavor or vape quality (at least the P3 gave us the boost feature that significantly improves the vape experience). That air adjustment is cheesy too. If I'm talking to Robin, I tell her to save her money.

And is it that hard to drain your tank that makes it worth $200 to upgrade to a K4?

Hello everyone and great to see Ice and Pappy join in the fun. Pappy I have a couple of Isticks and just love them. You might want to invest a couple dollars and grab an air flow controller from My Vapor Store. The biggest complaint to date on the Istick is the weak 510 connection and I like the looks of the afc with my tanks....just couldn't use the ego adapter that came with it..my tanks didn't sit down on them. One of my Isticks was acting up before I left and I just set it aside and will look at it tomorrow, but assume I need to raise the center pin. I have no desire for any new equipment...just loving what I've got.

April...I also wanted to say I'm so happy you are enjoying your new mod...you deserve some joy in your life;)
