The squape has still not arrived. In the meantime I'm looking for a machine screw that goes the other direction. Is that called reverse threading? I don't want to sound like an idiot at Home Depot and come home with the wrong thing. Thanks...

The normal machine screws wind the wrong way for the legs to get wrapped clockwise. I've been managing ok but the other thread will make things much easier.

Reverse threading is when you go clockwise to loosen, and counter clockwise to tighten..

BTW, does anyone know where I might find a syringe with a blunt needle, preferably heavy gauge, for filling tanks? My Aqua 2 is a pain to fill with one of those tiny things that go on a juice bottle. Takes forever. Any suggestions would be great. [emoji4]

Thank you Retic! I like the o ring idea. If I understand you correctly... You are saying put the o ring between 1a and 1b? I will most likely buy the parts, in a future order.

I had to take a break after yesterday's complete fiasco. Some days are just like that. Nothing you do turns out right. I tried to do a dual coil on the Aqua2. It looked good. But I had trouble with a wire not being locked in, even though the screw was tight. I got frustrated with it. So I put it away for a while. Finally I was getting desperate. I decided to just do a single coil for the evening, and then a dual coil today. Even that didn't go well. The coil looked good. When I went to push the fire button to tighten the coil up, it started giving me different numbers, and it went higher. When I used the pliers to tighten the coil, it loosened again. It seems tight, then I cut it with some nail clippers. That tension seems to pull it loose. The screw is still tight though. The wire was barely moving. I wonder if the screw needs to be a little longer. Well I decided Samuel had one coil that would work for it. So I took his really good looking coil, and put it on there. The coil where it was locked in, I think the positive side, also moved. (I think positive side) It is just one of those deals where I just finally said to heck with it. I had to take a break from it, because I was getting perturbed. I was going to do it today, but haven't yet. I really need that tank to be online. Today I decided to change the coil in the Nautilus Mini. I haven't touched it in several days. But with the Kayfun not working, I had to do something. The taste isn't there, and it is gurgling. I have cleared it I don't know how many times. Then I would chain vape the Magma. It started to leak. I had to fight the urge to go get a pack of cigarettes. That is how bad it was.

Today I went and bought another little 000x1 screwdriver. While I was there I bought a precision wire cutter. Maybe that will help me, and get a clean cut of the wire. My nail clippers would sometimes clip smoothly, other times not. I will see if that helps. It is getting late though. If I do another coil and it is a repeat of last night, I think I will lose my temper. I think I will tackle it once this evening, no dual coil. If I don't get it the first try, I will do it again tomorrow. I also think I am going to get those coilers Dusty showed from FT. That might help me too.

Update: I think the wire cutters helped. Although they didn't get the close cut I had hoped for. At least they seem to cut cleanly, when I used them. So I got the Aqua2 going in single coil again. I feel a little better. I hope this build is a good one. It took me quite a while. I know I will get faster with it, in time. I can get a Kayfun going pretty quick. But locking in the coils on the Kayfun is tedious with my shaky hands. I feel a little better now. I was aiming for a 1.8 coil. I ended up with a 1.6 instead. It'll have to do for now. I wanted to be able to use it on the MVP2. The iStick won't work for it, because it is too warm at that ohms. Anyway, I had a little sigh of relief.

Oh, and I put the screw back in the other hole. This time I also put cotton in the spare channels not being used. I hope that helps. Time will tell.

Yup put the o-ring between 1a and 1b , sometimes you have to adjust one or both coils to get solid contact on both coils in a through post attty , you should try moving them a millimeter or so to one side or the other until you get them going right .

Deep breaths, Kelly! The more stressed out you get, the worse you'll do when it comes to coils. Walk it off..and come back to it. :)

Amazon or e-Bay. Search 5ml syringe w/blunt tip". 18 gauge is best. Any fatter and it doesn't fit in a lot of things, and thinner and it draws too slow.

Yes, walking away from it, is what I had to do. I was getting mad to say the least. My back was hurting from being hunched over the thing trying to build it too. The tension from not getting it right did not help. I took almost a 24 hour break. Got it right. I don't know how that cotton is doing yet, over the spare side of the Aqua2. I am afraid to pull it off right now, and take a peek. It is trying to gurgle on me. It wasn't until I tried to chain vape it. I will tackle all this later. I have some shopping that must get done today. First off I must buy a new cat scratcher. The cats have destroyed their old one. Now they are wanting to scratch on my chair. I can't have that. I will go after lunch today. Then take a long nap. Then I will see about dealing with the vaping gear. I am so relieved to have the Aqua2 going. I was fighting that urge to just get a pack of analogs. When the tanks are on hand, and working right, no problem. In my desperation I think I pulled too hard on the Magma, and that made it flood a little. At least I woke up today with a tank going okay. That knocked that urge right out the window, thank goodness. That was the closest I have come to falling off the wagon.

Does anyone know how low/high this Aqua tank can get, without leaking? I am pretty sure there is some liquid in the air flow too. I am not sure what is the best method for this tank, to clear it. I know, I am full of questions more than answers at this point. Sorry about that.

Flip upside down, hold a napkin over the air-hole, and blow through the driptip. All RTA's can be cleared out this way. Keep your eyes closed, just in-case. ;)

Ah, thanks. That is what I do on setting up the Kayfun with fresh juice. So do the same thing then, cool. On the clearomizers I saw a You Tube video... It said to hold it upside down, and shake it forcibly down a few times. That always worked. But if you keep flooding it, you have to keep removing it, which is a pain. When I first started using them, flooding was an issue. Once I had more clearmoziers, I felt more satisfied since I got various juice flavors ready, for whatever urge in flavor I had. Once satisfied, I guess the urge to draw harder was resolved. I had to remind myself to try not to draw so hard last night. I knew if I did I would flood it, or at least get a gurgle. Sure enough, it happened alright.

Oh, on the Aqua, the air hole is not as easy to blow air through, because of the design. Still I will try that when the gurgle starts again, until I resolve the issue another route. Thanks Dusty.

Did you have the air-flow open?! I can't see how you can draw on it hard enough to flood it if you had the air-flow cranked open, unless your middle name is Dyson. :D
