What is Zen stuff? You mean my clearomizers? LOL.
He's talking about Genesis style atty's , the RSST is a Genesis style atty or Genny for short , originally designed for stainless steel mesh wicks . BK has a special way of wicking his with rayon and silica so it doesn't leak when it's layed down .

Just getting started. First observation - tighter than it looks. Will have to go smaller than 3/32 with mandrel. Screws are Phillips, not Allen. Everything fits tight. Vapor decent, good flavor. Still playing with air flow....

Wrapped a second coil, 5/64th dill bit, nine wraps 30g, testing 1.9 ohms. Noticeable difference. Good Vapor, Very Good Flavor. Seems like a little more breathing room inside the chamber using smaller mandrel. Since this is a Bottom Feed rba, I should add juice feed and drain are excellent. Using one third of one air slot and vaping smooth and easy. I get the impression a 1.6 ohm micro coil on a Woodvil or Grand would do very nicely.

I got my Kanger Subtank Mini and Nano's in today... they both work as well as the original Subtank...

If you like one, you'll like all of them... so pick the size of one that fits your needs best. I put my original on the 100w wooden box mod, the Mini on the ZNA clone and the Nano on my Vaporshark DNA 30w.... loving the size of the VS/Nano combo but I'm a bit worried that I'll blow through the 1300mah battery or the 3ml of juice

I am supposed to be saving them for the New Woodvil and Resin Mods (or at least that's the idea). But by the end of the weekend, that Cyclone might just sneak it's way onto my LP VV Grand for a trial vape....

Do let me know how much you like the RM4 Papaw..If I were you..I'd go ahead and put a coil in there. Have fun bud. ;)

Sirius, you can close one side off for the air on the Cyclone AFC. I watched a few videos on it.

If anyone wants to try a split wick method on the Aqua 2, I just came across this. This method seems best to me so far, with a single coil.
Micro Single Coil Build Aqua Atomizer (Part 2) - YouTube
He is doing an Aqua 1 build here, but the wicking is the same.

Cyclops AC? Can one be closed off for single coil?

Yes, and Yes. If you look closely at the Cyclops, the slots on the inside a 180* apart, but the exterior slot are about 120* apart. This way, it is possible to close off one side. Also, in between the two inner (180* apart) slots is a single air hole, I'm guessing 1mm in diameter. Too tight for me, I've turned to the one slot setting and am playing between 1/3 and 1/4 open. Easily 2mm of draw there.

I purchased a rebuild kit from Reos Mods. Decided even for my style of vaping the newer gold contacts fire a lot faster than the old aluminum ones. And, they are nearly maintenance free. There is even a video on his website where Rob shows and explains, step by step, how to remove the old contacts and install the new ones. What took him about 5 minutes took me 50 minutes, but I got it done and she's firing just fine. It's still a 'Classic' Juice well, so most of the newer RBA's won't fit, but that's OK because I just want better contacts.

Set up a 7 wrap 3/32 28g for a 1.3 ohm coil in the rebuilt Grand. Vapor nearly instantaneous, and firing like a new mod.
That kit included the center firing pin, 510 gaskets, gold plated + contact, high temp fire button, gold plated - spring, bottle and tube.
The old 510 gasket was the PIA. I don't know if it was from use, juice or maybe overheating or over tightening, but it came out in pieces. slowly. I took over half an hour just getting the old one out, cleaning the inside of the 510 connector, and trying to get the new one seated properly. But it really is am upgrade for my old Classic Grand (Dusty ?) and well worth it.
