I just twist the end to get it started through the coil. It's all fluffy because I trim the ends off after I pull it through.

sounds like too much rayon, and its too tight when it swells in the coil reducing the flow inside the coil.... try 2/3rds or 1/2 of what you did originally... twist up the end and pull that thru...

I've used both methods with good results. I even wet the Rayon with juice the whole length while not twisting, but rolling it somewhat like you do Papaw. Then bend it L shape across the deck. The juice helps hold it close to the wall and not blocking the juice channels. Rayon also tends to shrink a bit when wet, so if you lube it up first, you know it's not gonna be loose when in the coil.

When using Lori's method with dry Rayon, you'll see fluffy shoulders on either side of the coil. (sorry, don't have pics of that)

I also vape mouth to lung similar to how a pipe smoker would puff on a pipe with shallow inhales and exhale through both nose and mouth.

Woke up this morning to another dry hit from this Svoemesto. Yuch. With over four hundred miles waiting, and two very slow stops along the way, that had to wait. Home now, and I've rewicked the Kayfun as y'all have recommended. Seems to be doing OK for now. I've also turned off the 'Boost' feature, as I'm not sure it's compatible with my 'puff-puff-puff and inhale' style of vaping. Finally relaxing with this Deep Caramel Pipe from Clay, and it is tasting good. I've also tried wicking my 'at work' Grands like this, let's see if that'll hold up through the work day tomorrow.

Haha it's the one tank im very conflicted about. The juice capacity is unrivaled. The tooless filling is awesome. Flavor is good. I've never had it leak.

But the airflow is too little for me. Reminds me of a kfl. Gimme a 2.5 or 3mm airflow and I think I wouldn't bother with any other single coil tanks

AIR-FLOW?!! Do you have the larger air-flow deck? I've got the Prinz and I can easily lung-hit it if I want. Air-flow is one of the last things I would pick on with the ErlP. Damn thing sounds like a central vacuum when I lung-hit it. :D

they have airflow upgrades for it, right? I've heard great things about it...but that pricetag :/

I've been eyeballing the Goblin by UD lately. It's probably gonna be my next hardware purchase.

I just finished telling KK that she may be over doing the rayon in her Aqua. Here's hoping smoother sailing going forward for both of you. :)

Goblin has MASSIVE air-flow, but is not a single coiler (atleast not by default). I'd love to see a KFL or Aqua style RTA with a single coil that has the air-flow of the Prinz. :)

The Lemo does not cut it..

Hahah I'll be damned if I pay 19 euros for the airflow upgrade. That's just ridiculous pricing. Add in shipping too. Shakes head.

Personally, I hate manufacturers like them; the atty has AFC. It makes absolutely no sense to sell the atty with limited airflow stock, and then make consumers pay another 19 euros to get an "upgrade". Drilling it to the larger diameter to begin with presents no extra work. Grumbles.

Should have paid 120 euros less and got the Prinz to begin with.

he he he! just rubbing it in!

You know that you can get a FT clone with the larger air-flow base and swap it out with the original one right? It's $14 or something like that. You may just end up with some o-rings etc as spares as well. ;)

Ow. Owwwww. Owwww.

Haha i think I'll just move on to other tanks for now. My lemos have been terrific. Same as my k4 (clones tho). The aqua v2 is a beast of an atty and I have another coming. So soooo tempted to pick up a goblin but alas. The fill method. What a waste

If you're pulsing the fire button with boost you are gonna do some damage.

Well getting juice to the coil now is no problem. I got too much juice. I couldn't believe the difference. I had to rewick one of the coils to make it more full on the bottom tail. Still don't have it right. I think I need to open it up, and check that both coils are still firing together. Playing with the watts, and the juice/air flow. I had to crank way down on the air flow, because I had my wicks over saturated. That is the latest update. I'm taking a break from it for a while. Past time for supper. :)

Oh, I can relate Ms. KK. More than once I had to use a long pair of hemostats to reach down in my garbage disposal to retrieve atty bits. :D

I actually lost my first fill screw down the garbage disposal last week. I didn't have time to fish it out, just grabbed an extra from the kayfun box. Forgot about it after work and flipped on the disposal.. I got it out but it's a bit banged up. Thankfully the originals came with extras!

Am I the only one that does rebuilding/rewicking at my desk on a kitchen towel? :)

Nope. More like hold the fire button while puffing. Never was a problem before, but squonking allows me to saturate the coil/ wicks every third of fourth vape.

The boost would not affect that as long as you push/hold the fire button. If your rayon experiments fail, try cotton Pops. No reason why you should be outvaping the feed.

I'm using Japanese organic cotton with the nickel builds, can use less of it so it's easier to put in without messing up the coil.
