The Stingrays are suppose to have a floating 510. Did you take off the top cap and screw your magma on before screwing it onto the mod and adjusting the battery on the switch?

Nice setup. Nice to know the Stingray isn't slippery. I've been eyeing the Stingrays for my next mech purchase, since my K100's 510 threads are giving me problems and I need a backup...

You saved me time, jef! I thought it had some sort of adjustment, and that it had to do with the order of assembly. But I didn't remember that part. I was planning to go back to the videos to see. Worked perfectly! Thanks!

Might want to see if you have a magnet option. Don't know anything about Stingrays. My Neme has the option so Slim sent me some magnets to replace the spring on the fire button. Nice and smooth.

Although the Stingray uses a switch based upon the original Nemesis, one of it's features is a built in magnetic switch. The original Stingray, however, used a somewhat concave magnetic pin that didn't always contact all bateries due to the battery's wrap (purple Efest are said not to always work for instance). The new Stingray X has rectified this with a flat contact and more compact switch assembly while still employing the battery adjustment feature.

Cool! They should all have magnets instead of the springs anyway.

Yep. That was a big sell point for me, along with the battery self-adjustment.

Jef, I don't know how the X clone will be, but I have noticed that the lock ring's edges are sharp. It was mentioned in reviews, along with a way to buff them to fix that. I may need to look that up again, or, knowing me, there will be blood.

The magnets that came with BK's Hcigar Hades are too strong , it's a two handed mech instead of one handed , that and the high polish on it makes it hard to grip if your hands are sweaty , I don't know if magnets are a good idea in a 26650 mech , unless weaker magnets can be had , larger magnets = stiffer switch it seems .

I imagine those are large magnets for a 26650.

Too big and too strong , it's not a comfortable mech to use and BK had to perform surgery on it to get it to hit right , the positive battery contact was rounded , very little surface contact with the battery , it's a nice looking mech though .

pretty much the diameter of a quarter.... very stiff and powerful... but not as bad as my neodynium 3"X 1.5" cylindrical magnets on the fridge... anything "magnetic" based gets within 18" of them and it WILL be Owned by the magnets... once I accidentally got them stuck together, had to make a 2X4 magnet seperator to get them apart.....
supposedly they have over 1000lbs of force when together...

Got a fogger v4 yesterday, along with a v2, as well as a segelei 19e.
A legit copper vanilla coming tomorrow too.
Missed not being able to traditional drip as well as just tanks in general.
The v4 has been ripped apart 4 times today in attempts to tweak the dry hits out.
Right now its got 2 wicks in air channels and 2 sitting right above. The occasional leak is annoying but not as annoying as a dry hit.
Coming to end end of being able to buy vape gear like I've been able to so trying to make the most of it.

So the leaks annoyed me too much lol. 5th time taking apart and I'm back to dry hits. This is some ol bs... Coil is .85 not to low... Cello isn't thick. Barely going down the wells. I'm frustrated beyond belief.

Post some pics buddy. You sure you have enough CCR in your coil? It tends to shrink when soaked with juice, and can result in dry hits from the exposed sections.

The rayon is a lot like a sponge. It'll compress. I think I'm using twice as much as I was. I wasn't getting dry hits just gurgling and a bad vape. I went back to cotton for a couple days then tried again. I made it real snug and it worked like it should. The main consensus is you need to put more in with rayon.

I was having the same issue with 1mm ekowool.
I'll post pics tomorrow once i take it apart for the 6th and possibly last time.
Back to reos for rest of night. At least they never have issues :p

BTW. Not sure any of you have seen the spirit RDA. Its a low budget non clone, and it freaking rocks. I bought it with intentions of drilling for bf but its not being modded now. Works perfectly and I bought mine for 20$ in classies but they go for 35$ new.
