I'm trying to like the rayon. I have it in the double cross and it works fine. But I can add a little VG to it so I think that helps. I put some in the KFL yesterday. I used more rayon this time plus I added a bit of VG to the DF. It seems better but I didn't measure the VG I put in. So I've taken a empty 15 mil bottle and put 13.5 mil of DF in and 1.5 mil of VG measured with a dropper. That should be about a 40/60 mix. It should drop the nic a little. And the flavor but it's extra so should be ok. If I can't find a happy place with this I'll stay with the regular cotton in the KFL. I still can't decide if the flavor is better with the rayon or not.

Here I was enjoying my vape without a care and someone says you got to try this. I'm beginning to think I should stay away from ECF. Just order my juice and enjoy the vape and stop looking at new stuff. Screw it where's the fun in that.

I like rayon in my drippers over everything else I've tried but in my kayfuns I still prefer cotton yarn

I'm liking the rayon myself. All 4 working reos have it as of midnight last night and flavor is OK. Much cheaper then ekowool and flavor IMO is close to the eko. Haven't had a dry burnt nasty hit yet but I'm a pretty good blind squonker. All my builds have changed to a 2mm diameter micro and they've all come up to about .7 vs the .4 I been at recently.

The main reason I keep trying in the KFL is I like how easy it is to get a wick and the way it goes into the coil. I'll keep experimenting with it for now. Plus I was thinking of adjusting my juice PG/VG anyway. And I agree in the double cross it's great.

I think I'm using about twice as much rayon as I was regular cotton.

I'd say I'm about 50% more. I tried to go higher, but with the heavier NETs from other vendors, I started to get coil starvation in about 1/2 a tank on the KFL. I think the drippers are more forgiving..

Well so far I haven't put to much in. But with the way it compacts it's hard to tell. A little VG/PG adjustment may be in order. But I was thinking of doing that anyway. I've been at 50/50 but I'm thinking 40/60 may be better.

Pyramid Tea Bags, but that would have been before you all started vaping. :D

I have no idea how but I actually used those tea bags in some black plastic thing that went on a tiny 510 cig a like.

I also have no idea how I ended up on this thread! Lol... Just hitting the back button I guess :)

The HCigar Stingray arrived today, along with a pair of Sony 18650 VTC 5 batteries. The quality is great. The threading is a little rough in a few spots, but when assembled you have to look really closely to see the seams. This is my first mech, so I don't have experience for comparison. I did see and handle some others at the vape shop though and this is higher quality overall than many of those. It feels substantial without being heavy.

The magnetic button action is solid and it self-adjusted, eliminating any battery rattle. The lock ring is smooth, spins easily and without fumbling to isolate it from the rest of the tube. It's compact, and not slippery. I can fire it with my pinky easily. I love the drip tip that came with it.

The 501 connector is not adjustable, and there's about a 1.5 mm gap between the Stingray and the Magma. The HC KFL sits nearly flush. Edit: User error. The 501 connector floats. The top cap should be connected to the atty first, then to the tube. Then tighten the bottom switch cap. Thanks, jefsview!

The Magma build is dual coils at 1.8 ohms, and needs a good cleaning and fresh wicks. With new coils at a lower resistance, I'll have a better vape than I'm getting right now. Still, it's darn good. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

Yup time to cut the resistance in half , or a little less , .7 -.9 ohms is the sweet spot in the Magma IMO .

The Stingrays are suppose to have a floating 510. Did you take off the top cap and screw your magma on before screwing it onto the mod and adjusting the battery on the switch?

Nice setup. Nice to know the Stingray isn't slippery. I've been eyeing the Stingrays for my next mech purchase, since my K100's 510 threads are giving me problems and I need a backup...
