Overall, I am happy with the threading. Only issue I had was a small burr on the edge of one of the tank sections. Oh, and I quickly cracked a tank using coffee liquid. My fault totally.

Angelcigs. Well, they took a bit to finally ship out, and when they did, it was the wrong item. (They sent me a lite instead.) HOWEVER, upon notifying them, they quickly shipped out a 3.1, and never asked me to send the lite back. Very classy of them.

Thanks Hudson ! Yeah that is nice of them to let you keep the lite , that answers my question .

Yeah Chak. GT started with a ProSmoke too. What a total piece of krap that was. An automatic battery. What a failed concept. They still send me emails.

    Unsubscribe... ;)

I started with a KGO and cartos. It worked well enough to keep me off of the stinkies. I pretty quickly went to clearos instead of cartos. Then I got a V-Tube (lavatube clone), a Reo and a Silver Bullet, and graduated to the Vivi Novas.

With the Provari and the HCigar Kayfun 3.1's, I feel like I'm in vape nirvana.

I believe I went the carto route as well after the ProCrap. Carto tank on the Odyssey mech got me off the stinkies along with those ego tanks - what the heck do they call them again? Joyetech eGo-T - the ones where the tank is incorporated into the tip and pushes down onto the attomizer - had to look it up. After that in quick procession, ViVi Nova, Kanger T3, eVod, Protank with a few RBAs thrown in for good measure, like 2 AGA-T2s, 2 Richaman Genesis clones, and 3 SplitFires.

Ekowool sucked in the Kayfuns. Cotton beats all in the KFL's..

I keep switching from cotton to silica, but lean towards cotton. Running sort of low on 1.5mm silica, but have 20 some odd feet of 3mm hollow thread. Maybe I'll make a Jacob's ladder with it and use it on the Bar-B ;)

Built my first twisted kanthal coil. 32g, 3 wire, cant remember how many turns around my 2mm or so screwdriver. MVP shows it at 1.7. Seems VERY slow to heat

You can either go Dusty's route or drop a strand on your next build.

    Sorry. I am still learning

No need to apologise, we've all been through the same thing. (and not all that long ago)

And I'm learning with you. I've done double wraps. Need a test dummy subject for triple wrap 32.. Go!!

Fixed that for ya, buddy. :D

Maybe I will just make another one for my dripper. The first is in the kayfun 3.1

Got yer thinking cap on... :2cool: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :)

the tiger wire is 7.50 for 3 feet?!?! wonder how many ohms per inch its rated at??

Don't know but I made one last night. Put a coil in the RBA. Came in at .5 with about a 3 wrap. The flavor is good but I think it's to hot for the RBA. I'll be putting a .8 ribbon coil back in it later. I have enough for another coil. I may put it in the KFL but I'm liking the ribbon so much I'm not sure I want to change at this point.

how does the ribbon look when dry burned?? does it heat up evenly across the width of it?

The RBA is an A7 so it's only has like 2/3 wraps and I use .8 ribbon. The KFL I use .6 ribbon and do a 5/6 wrap at 3/32. Just putting new wick in the coil that has been a week. It still looks good and is heating from the middle out.

I've been eyeing it, but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. Could be the fact that I have a half dozen drippers sitting around not being used that causes me to hesitate.

Same thing here, Dusty. I have a ton of drippers that I never use but this thing I cant put down. It is simple to set up and it performs great. I love the airflow adjustment too
