I have a cousin who we met up with yesterday at a fine dining establishment in Birmingham. He tried my Herons and really liked them. He wants to quit chewing. He wants to get into vaping. I'm a bad one to ask this about as I took a lot of short cuts and ended up getting into the high end stuff very hard core. If you were going to build an aspiring vapor a starting kit, what would you do? I plan on spending a few hours with him to get him acclimated to the gear, building coils, et.al., but am having a conundrum as to which way to take him. VV? Mech? He's very smart and probably already has everything he needs to build micro's safely. So, toppers. I really dislike the kayfun. And with him driving like I do, living on top of a mountain in WV., I don't see that as a good option. Maybe I'm wrong? I don't know. I'm looking for some good advice on what I can set him up with. Help a brother out.
I'd definitely go with a regulated device for someone starting out , if you're gonna help him out with the building part of it , I've been seeing some good things about this , it's inexpensive but it's not a clone , might be worth looking in to . Eleaf Lemo rebuildable atomizer

Thanks guys. Saved me a bunch of time.

Retic, I tried to send you some pics via pm, but they won't let me. Here's some pics. Note the end shots of the 18500 tube with the kick part on it. Both are dinged slightly but aren't beyond saving.

So here, I didn't have your email:

    350 tube.

650 tubes next to the midget.

Victim of RJs tile dropped with no battery in it.

Probably a simple rethreading is all.

I did mod one of my KFLs the other one the channels were fine. My juice is 40/60. This is on the XPV DNA 30. The Magneto has my dripper with dual coils at .5 ohm. Trapping the ribbon under the screw can be tricky but can be done. I've fixed that problem with a piece I made to help. I've used .5, .6 and .8. They all will work The .5 heats the quickest but tends to distort easy and is the weakest, like using 32ga. The .8 (is like 28ga) heats to slow at 1.3 ohm. The .6 holds it shape and heats fast at 1.3 ohm. I've pushed to 30 watts and it works but the wicking is slow giving it a slight burnt taste. I could make it work if I opened the channels some.

I LOVE ribbon wire, but have noticed it heats up really fast.

Calve I also agree with the Nautilus Aspire...probably full size tank and BVC coils. A rebuildable atty would be great also...just starting out the plug and play is so much less frustrating, I've had good luck with the MVP long battery life, sturdy and not a major investment to start with. If he likes vaping and wants to spend more on a good mod like the Provari the MVP will be great backup or something less expensive to take in outings when something could happen to the mod

What up army. Felt I needed to branch out once again, so I sold a few things and reos and picked up an authentic magma and odin. Looking forward to them as I'm expecting a dual 18650 unregulated box mod in a week or 2.
Dont get me wrong. My 2 reos I bring to work daily get the crap beat out of them, I just need something different once in a while.

    Is there a hidden joke?

No joke.. just a familiarity to your G.A.S!

    (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)

How's the new house and mommy-to-be doing? When's the expected due date?

She's Actually doing pretty good. Monthly checkup tomorrow so as always I get a little nervous :p

The house is coming along. I wanted to move in yesterday but we just didn't have enough furniture to feel comfortable enough to live there this week. Friday we get all our deliveries from a million companies so we move in officially on Saturday. No cable though sadly since my company didn't turn the network on but that's fine we have plenty to unpack and even more ikea stuff to build.

G.A.S is only because I buy legit stuff that holds it's value. I sold a reo with a bunch of stuff and my vanilla to an army member. I have no real money to buy anything vape related..

It's always good when you want to try something new...but have the vape gear to cover you costs..I'm pretty much an expert at it:laugh: Don't think I'll be selling any Reos though...for me they just work.

Man, Blake sent me this tip to check out and I got to say, it's a perfect fit for the PanMag. RJ noted that the 3 rings on it went with the 3 rings on the Panzer. COD freaks, what are you gonna do? Anyway, I wanted to post these shots. I thought it was a striking drip tip. It's quite a wide one too, easy to drip into if that's your poison.

To be correct and in order that would be CDO.....who's the freak now eh ja?

Legend, Serendipity, and DF along with PB when I have it. It's in the KFL and the ribbon is .6 x 1.

mmmm....Serendipity.... Those are my top three!

Calve gave me an authentic Mirandus and Magma today..........and in the same vein as the PanMag I penned....we can now officially call it the MirMag! Not quite as catchy but I like it! :) Who knew I was such a trend setter?
