I watched a reviewer yesterday (someone I had never seen before from the vaping Lounge) do an Aqua build. He did long straight cotton wicks and stuffed as much as he could into all four channels. Laid them in the channels, stuffed them in with a screwdriver, then worked the tag back upward into the channels bunching in it some more.

I bet he'll also say that he does not get dry hits, and that it wicks like a charm with 100% VG.. does not make it true. ;)

Wow, that's the opposite of an ErlPrinz wick. Many warnings not to stuff the wick into the channels. It's interesting learning the nuances of each tank, and figuring out how to build it just right.

Obviously I've never built an Aqua cuz I don't own one. And I suspect there are several ways that work. I'm just relaying what he did. It musta worked because he vaped it a bunch of times after he was done and it was chuckin' clouds.

So you are not cutting the thickness of the wick that trails into the channel? Cutting it in half like they do for the Prinz?

I've been trimming it back to keep it from hanging over the threading.

Half?! I separate maybe around 15 or 20 fibres from the bottom of the bow-tie, and that is all I have going into the channels of the Prinz. 1/2 would be too much.. WAY too much.

Well, I don't know about the Aqua. But I do know I can stuff the life out of a Kayfun coil and I never get a dry hit. But if I go too little I will get a dry hit...guaranteed. So I know of at least one atty where stuffing the crap out of it works.

Yeah, but you're not stuffing cotton down the juice channels are you?! There is no catch-cup for the aqua or the prinz. The juice channels go straight to the deck where the coil is.

Likewise.. I've only used Max VG juice in mine. I should add a disclaimer that this method that I described is for Rayon wicks. I have no idea what Cotton wicks require.

Rayon really only needs a little in the juice channels to grab the juice and transport it to the coils for both the Aqua and the Prinz.

The same here , I'm using rayon in all my atty's , I agree cotton is a different animal all together .

Agreed! I only have strands going into the channels on the Prinz. I was just mentioning the first step, mainly for the direction and type of thinning. Sorry to shock you! How's your heart?!? ;)

Maybe, maybe not. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to it so I'm sure there are times I do.

    All the time, Dust.

Have you posted a pic of one of yours before? I did a spaced 26g build, and noticed there's really no way of avoiding long legs on the coil when going horizontal. I guess that's a given?

It's not bad, but I'm not seeing any added benefit over any other dripper I've tried..

The leak proofness is going to be a big plus obviously!

The Veritas from a flavor, TH, cloud standpoint is on par with many direct-to-coil airflow drippers according to many. No better, no worse. I like it because it is highly leak resistant.

The Magma has only leaked on me once. It was my fault. I love it. It will also work rather well on the iStick too, because it is very light. I gave the Magma a freaking work out today. That was all I vaped, until now. I am finishing up that Dragon Fire that was in the Kayfun. I'm not gonna touch the Dragon Fire for a while. I want to see what more age will do to it. If it doesn't change, I won't buy more of it. It is good, but not great to me. The Pirate's Booty, Legend, Gaila, are GREAT. I put some Maple eh? in the Magma today. It tastes so much stronger than it did after a week. I am still not getting a big Maple flavor. (or not the kind I was expecting) It is good, but not great at this point. Gonna try the Caramel Apple Tobacco again, once the Dragon's Fire is empty in the Kayfun. Later I am gonna try the Heavenly Tobacco again.

The Panzer gave me some fits again today. I spent more time messing with it, than vaping with it. For some reason the tail cap nut is backing out. The Magma wasn't firing right. The battery and atty were good. I don't have the sections tight. I am afraid if I do, they won't come undone. I finally got tired of the nut backing off, and I used a pair of flat head pliers, and gave it a slight tightening. I think what it is, is I keep opening it to check the battery. I take the battery out, check it, put it back in. The brass connector with the reverse thread is probably the cause of it. I guess I will learn to see what it is doing, and tweak it. If not, I am sticking with regulated mods. I love the looks of it. When it is running right, I LOVE IT. When it isn't firing right, or the nut keeps backing out, it gives me fits.

The Magma has been throwing massive clouds, when the Panzer is working right. Much more than the Kayfun cloud wise. I am hoping the Aqua2 is like a combination of the Kayfun, and the Magma. Now that would be impressive. I have been trying flavor after flavor on the Magma. It would also be perfect for trying out juice, to see if it is ready or not, instead of filling the Kayfun with it. I must say I have been extremely impressed with it. I haven't turned my back on the Kayfuns by any means. They are a work horse, and once you get them loaded, you can vape much longer, which is great. Still great flavor, and a very enjoyable vape. I have been having a great time vaping with both the Kayfun, and Magma. They both have their place. At this point, I can't say I like one more than the other. I love them both.

KK, the Magma and the Kayfun are really in two different arenas. One is a dripper, the other a tank. I find drippers generally give a slightly better vape but a tank gives you more convenience by holding more juice than a dripper.

KK , put the switch assembly on the Panzer and tighten it all the way then loosen your locking ring . You don't need to tighten the locking ring , just turn it gently to lock and unlock the fire button . Make sure all sections of the body are tight and adjust or remove the battery by way of the top cap .

The the coming of the Kanger Subtank and more than likely the Aspire Atlantis... makes that a much more questionable statement these days. I taste more with the Subtank than I do with the Kayfun... haven't been able to ever say that before although my rebuilds on the Aerotank Mega do come close also.
