Y'know.. as much as people whined and moaned about all the strict rules and verifications ECF put in place for stuff to be sold via Classifieds, I'm glad that it stopped this kind of Highway Robbery. There's still the occasional person that ends up on the wrong side of the deal, but it's very very rare compared to the amount of sales/trades that happen via the Classies.

I took the nickel out of my VF, put in 2 wraps of 8 of 28 gauge kanthal, it's back!

I think I might have shorted it on wick, at least I can easily change it out though.

Hey papaw if you are looking for a bottom fed cyclone. You might want to head down to chowder's catfish atty thread, and ask chowder if he has any. Even if he doesn't, it's likely someone would offer it you over PM (not sure if it's "legal" tho)

I lost my REO + cyclone AFC while drunk in NYC. Posted an enquiry, and a member sold me his cyclone + AFC top cap for just $60.

I would take a cyclone AFC over a rm2 any day. Much much muuuuuch better construction, full range of AFC for dual and single coils, great flavor.

(Btw, a cyclone + AFC used to run over 120 bucks. So that's a great deal)

Hey papaw if you are looking for a bottom fed cyclone. You might want to head down to chowder's catfish atty thread, and ask chowder if he has any. Even if he doesn't, it's likely someone would offer it you over PM (not sure if it's "legal" tho)

I'm liking it, I just haven't touched it since the night I put the Veritas on.. I know, I know.. I should use it more. I haven't even built my Rogue yet.

As for the question, I seem to recall you mentioning you sold something without even trying. Sigh!

Haven't found any yet. The general consensus is that in single coil operation, without the AFC cap, it is a lot like the RM2 only more $$$.
With the AFC and using dual coils, it is a "different animal" as one member put it. But that's not what I'm after.

This is a very unpopular view in reoville, but decently well shared outside of it.

Yes, the rm2 is an atty with excellent flavor and is easy to build.

But apart from that, its a poor quality atty. Really soft chrome plated brass all around. It's so soft, that a common way to enlarge the airhole is to simply use a drill bit, and hand twist it till it enlarges.

ETA: the cyclone AFC is all stainless, very very well build, and the concave deck makes it drain like a dream.

As far as the Hornet, all I did was mention I had one lying in the tackle box (RBA box) that wasn't being used. Three other members PM'ed me, which I think is what you just suggested...maybe. $50 for a really badly torched Hornet I hadn't used in over a year... That's Woodvil Money !

I hear you on the mention in there, and glad that it worked out. All I'm saying, is there's no need to mention it elsewhere once it's done because technically it IS breaking the rules.

It's reaaaally ugly because I honestly didn't think it would actually work (in terms of hitting past 0.1 ohm) but Here you go:

3mm inner Diameter, 30ga Ni200, 0.12 ohm

Lemme know if you guys have any questions! I'm finishing up my third tank of juice, and will post update pictures at whatever angle yall need

There's a couple of DNA40 owners on here , but I never thought to recommend an Aqua V2 to them , wasn't sure about nickel builds on a through post design . How does it vape ?
