What kinds of improvements have they made to the MVP 3.0? I've got an MVP 2.0 that I don't use much since I got my iSticks. Hopefully, you can adjust wattage in less than .5 watt increments and it now has a spring loaded firing pin. Oh, and hopefully the switch on the bottom is recessed or at least flush with the bottom of it.
The MVP 3.0 Pro (
not the MVP 3.0, which only goes up to 30 watts) is adjustable from 6 - 60 watts in 0.5 watt increments, or 3.0 - 9.0 volts in 0.1 volt increments. Both will scroll faster if you hold the +/- key and will "wrap" if you hit the limit (i.e. 59.0 watts, 59.5 watts, 60.0 watts, 6.0 watts, 6.5 watts, and so forth).
The 510 connector is flush-mounted and the pin is spring-loaded. It comes with a 510 --> eGo adaptor if you want to use any eGo-threaded atomizers.
It can fire atomizers all the way down to 0.2 ohms, has a
huge 4500 mAh internal battery, and can charge other devices just like the older MVP's. There is no switch on the bottom to turn the charging output on and off, it will just switch on automatically when you plug in a device to charge. It even has a micro USB charging connector housed internally that pulls out, so you don't need a cable to charge devices with a micro USB connector (the full-size female USB connector is still there to charge devices with a cable like the MVP 2.0). The charging port to charge the device has been moved to the side, so it can sit upright when charging (an annoyance with the older MVP's).
And it does all this in a box mod only slightly larger than the original MVP and MVP 2.0 (4" tall, 1 3/4" wide, 7/8" deep, or 102 mm tall, 44 mm wide, and 22 mm deep).
Basically, it's an MVP 2.0 that's been upgraded in every way, making it quite competitive in the modern high-power regulated mod market. Sure, there are other models with more power or a larger battery (the 2x18650 box mods), but Innokin puts out some amazing products. When the original MVP 3.0 was released, I wasn't very excited because it only went up to 30 watts. But the MVP 3.0 Pro with its 60 watts of available power was a "must-buy" for me because of how happy I've been with my trusty old MVP 2.0.
Any fan of Innokin products, and especially the MVP series, who was waiting patiently for Innokin to finally release a high-power regulated mod, your wait is over. There are several reviews of it on Youtube, and all are overwhelmingly positive.
Innokin has also said they have started working on a temperature control mod. It won't be here for
at least several months, but if temperature control is something that is important to you, then you might want to hold off. But the MVP 3.0 Pro is such an upgrade over the older MVP's that it is worth every penny on its own. And the mod itself (not the kit with the iSub glass tank) goes for around $60. So get it now, and when Innokin does release a mod with temperature control then get that as well. Innokin products are priced so great despite how reliable and well-constructed they are, so you won't go broke getting the MVP 3.0 Pro now and the temperature control version whenever it is released.
