I am sure that there are other posts out there, on this forum, about TCR mode and speculation as to what it is. But I wanted to start my own thread and keep track of it so I can learn as much as I can as I am about to make a purchase and am going to purchase TCR mode devices just for the sake of having it..why not right?

So if anyone wants to join in and tell me what this TCR mode is all about, please do. As far as using TC I have been trying to learn as much as I can before jumping into this because I don't want to be mind boggled.

Thank You if you can help me. :thumb:

Also this doesnt quite relate to TCR mode, but I am searching for prices now on boxes and what stores do you reccommend for the cheapest prices you are going to find on the internet for suck mods. TCR that is. So I guess it does relate, nevermind. I am looking to spend about 40 bucks. I know that is kind of low but I am on a super budget-budget plan. LOL.

I also am going to need like 4 batterys cheapest I can get them. I am thinking about the Cuboid / boxes with double batterys (2) batterys that is. So I need cheapest prices possible on batterys as well. I would search for them myself on amazon or something but I need someone with experience with these batterys to find the safest ones for me.

If you are asking about Temp Control... TC has it's very own forum under APVs I believe.

You are right but I am heavily editing my post and its becoming a thread that is talking about more than just TC. It has various topics now. Refresh your page and tell me what you think if it should still be in General. I think it does.

Edited. Hope you find your $40 Cuboid and five dollar batteries. Perhaps spending all that money someone will even throw in a Cubis tank for free. TCR is basically Temp control but add in the companies wire value to make it more precise Temp control for a companies particular wire. Different companies will have different grades of wire and different heat values. CHEERS!

Thanks. And wow TCR seems like it might take some time to learn and get use to.. Thanks for the response!

I use 430ss wire which has a TCR # of 138 which seems to work well with the Cuboid even though it is a Clapton coil wrapped with nichrome, each wire type has a number,(TCR), and the Cuboid has empty slots to program that number for different metal types, it comes pre-programed for titanium nickel and 316ss

Ok I think I get it. So when purchasing wire. Say it is #138 SS like you are using. I would have to manually put that number in my mod? How hard is this too do.? I suppose this is what people are talking about it being "more of an accurate" vape, when using the exact number that is?

Also can you help me find some batterys for the cuboid really cheap ones that are best suited for it and my safety?

No time to learn it at all. You do not have to fine tune it with TCR. You can run it in SS316, Ni or Ti. I love my Cuboid but don't use TC very often. Actually have six TC mods and don't use TC on any of them. Like wife on TC because she does not keep an eye on detail and vapes her tanks dry. That's the main advantage. I find TC you are always fiddling with it to get a good vape. CHEERS!

no the 138 is specific to the Cuboid the wire type is the 430, entering it into the mod is easy enough they come with instructions that are easy to follow
What do you mean by 138 being specific to cuboid? Arent you using 138 stainless steel? So it already happened to have 138 stainless steal programmed on the cuboid. Sorry, I am just lost on that one.

I'm not sure that all mods use the same TCR numbers, the TCR # for 430ss is 138, the wire is 430ss 28 guage, the Cuboid TCR # for it is 138:vapor:
Ok i think i get it now. As long as I know which number for the type of wire I get I will be fine because I am definately going to program it for a more accurate vape.
10 less amps

I see.
