I just got some juice from a highly recommended company and the flavor was super subtle. My usual juice supplier doesn't have this problem. I was looking around the forums and saw people posting about letting juice sit for about a week for the flavors to come out more.

Could someone explain this? Like I said, my normal juice guy is on the money when I first open the juice, so I am a little confused.

Thanks a bunch.

1. different tastes ... surprises me all the time... it's frustrating, but if you comb the posts a lot, you'll see that some largely popular juices have their set of opposite reaction responses.

2. certain companies have some great ones and some duds and some nasty ones too.

3. if you like a certain type of juice; say tobacco, there are a few companies that "most" like... same for other types of juice; breakfast treats, desserts, coffees... fruits.

4... your question about steeping... yes, most juices do get better with steeping, some require it, some don't ...

5. some juices smell good but have less flavor and/or throat hit.

what is the brand and flavor you like, and which did you get that you are not liking?

it all depends of how long before you get it the juice was made. some vendors have it sitting for a week or so before sending it out. Others mix and then ship immediately but some have to sit for a few days to a week or more. Some are good right away. depends on flavors used. hope it gets better for you in the next few days.

I usually buy from DFW Vapor and all of the juice from there is spot on out of the box. Favs. so far are, Vanilla Ice cream, Chai tea, Carmel Macchiato, (Peach is good too, and Apple carmel ). I also like the titan tobacco from totally wicked.

I just got from Blue Mist a sampler pack of- French vanilla (super subtle), Mango (that one had flavor), Maple Pancake (no maple, but buttery still subtle), Green tea citrus (Got it, but subtle), Carmel cafe (got it, again subtle), and they also sent Bananas Foster (got flavor from that) too.

DFW is a 30vg and pg blend, Blue mist I went with their 20 Vg/pg blend with no extra flavor. Both were 24 mg nic.
I know the Blue Mist is about to make a move to a bigger location and maybe they made my order when I ordered it. That could be it too. Thanks for replying!

thanks for the review; good job....

"subtle" or mild: few ways it can go from there:
- can get better with steeping
- may always be too subtle even steeped
- is better than totally yuck... but when you know there is better out there, unless you are broke and can't spare the dime, you use it for the nicotine.

DFW, is where i am getting a great deal on joye 510 attys... $5. "forum special"... wish i had known about their juice being good before i ordered... but that's how it gets done.

ukeman, yeah I tried them first as I am still very new to this ( I got lucky, there are sooo many companies and I want to try everything! *l*). I tried them because they usually have great reviews on youtube. I have only seen one really bad one about them not being consistent. I haven't had that problem with them so far and I have gotten about 4 orders from them at this point. I always get my favorites and a new one each time.
And from what I understand, James the owner is a good guy and will make it right if you aren't happy.
Nice to meet you!

nice to meet you too Trillium35...
I have a point to pass to you; one i've learned from other hobby/obsession... lol... buy good quality; things that others recommend here and buy... that way if you find they are not for you, they are easy to sell... for a slight discount yes, but a less painful way to learn what's out there..

i just sold about $100 worth of juice that i didn't care for... now i can make purchases of newer (to me) ones. And i will buy small bottles to start with... as small as possible.

I've sold many a PV and Mod as well, keeping the best (for me). cheers.

if or when you get "swept up" in the vape vortex, you will find some juice that even from reputable vendors just don't taste right... some of that is subjective, and some is true; they just need time to steep... they may have been just made, and some are just like that... require lots of time (a week to months)... and then some are just bad... really, even from your favorite vendor there are some that should never have been sold...
I have some chocolate mint I'm going to leave alone for awhile, because I can't taste the chocolate at all off the bat. Most of my other ones so far have tasted fine out of the box. Might depend on the type of flavor. Limited experience so far with juices.

Thanks a bunch for the advice. What are your favorite juices/ venders? I just got a new one from DFW - Horchata. Sweet Milk/cream with a hint of cinnamon. Lovely.
wow... looks like a new source of good juice...
Favorites? and glad you asked....

1. Vapor Bomb: Snickerdoodle and Arctic Ice... AI goes great alone or with ANY other juice. Many love their CinaBomb and a bunch of others are great too really... but beware some are just not so hot and some are downright bad; (black cherry).

2. One of the most popular with the most loyal following is Backwoods Brew... if you are a tobacco or coffee vaper, this is the one; all his coffees are great imo. I have just ordered his fruit vapes, because i have yet to find a really good natural tasting fruit vape.

There are others out there that i like too, but if i were alone on a desert island? It's a selection from Vapor Bomb for me... but like i said be careful... get small samples first to be sure; and that's for any vendor.
