Just received an email from Dr. Siegel- really nice guy (IMHO):

"Hi David,

I think what Dr. Hahn is talking about is that nicotine residue can react with nitrous oxide in the atmosphere to form carcinogens. However, keep in mind that nicotine is readily absorbed in the lung. Thus, the amount of nicotine exhaled by a vaper is likely very small. There is no existing evidence that vaping produces any significant levels of ambient or deposited nicotine, and it is unlikely that levels would be very high because most of the nicotine is absorbed by the vaper. So her concern is a hypothetical one, and one which is not particularly likely.

I still have not heard from Dr. Hahn.

I've never understood the whole "difficult to refill cartridges without getting it on your hands" stance. We're going to inhale it into our lungs for crying out loud and it's a problem for them if we get a drop on our hands?

I'm a survivor! I had a ml or so in a tank of 24mg WTA that the carto died in. Being the frugal vaper, I attempted to pull the carto out enough to save the liquid then replace the carto. I wasn't successful. All the liquid spilled onto my hand, dang it. My first thought was to call 911 based on warnings received from the FDA and other ANTZ, but then I thought why? I just casually went to the kitchen and washed off my hand and went back to replacing the carto.

Didn't even get a nic buzz.

Speaking of keeping informed it was mentioned that there is a soft copy of "data" to be printed and given to attendees & vendors in case of questions. I would like to post some or all of this info on my website and also hand it out at any meets I may attend. I wouldn't expect Hahn or any other ANTZ to show up. That wouldn't be her style. Attention getting articles, TV programs and letters to businesses. Propaganda machines work best that way.

Or better yet call the cops and have her hauled out.
Management should be made aware that she holds no power to enforce anything.
