Is there anyone who has an LG XL3 mod they are using and can you tell me a little about it?

I am deciding if it is worth getting. I use carto tanks typically, 510 connection, Inferno/EGO 1000mAh batts or Lavatube. I am looking for something to give me a longer vape time.

I use the XL3 with a 4000mah trust fire battery and a 2.4-2.6 CE2. I run it on the blue setting 3.0-3.2 and vape 2-3ml per day. I have been getting 5 days out of it before I put it on the charger. Normally on day 5 only the blue setting is available. The green(4.0-4.2) lasts about 1 hour. The red(3.8-4.0) lasts about 1.5 days. The pink(3.5-3.7) lasts into day 4.
I do run on the low setting and with the ce2 I take short 2-3 second hits. That being said I get most of a day out of my Riva 650mah.

On my current VV I run 4.8-5.0v constant with a 2.8ohm carto. My hope was that maybe this would run at 4-4.2v with a 1.5ohm carto for at least a day solid. I vape 6-9ml of juice per day, with long 6-8 second draws. I am thinking the performance of this may not be what I want. My current VV limits at 2.5amp or I would just use 1.5ohm now at 4.2v. What got me was the wood body. I do have a Power VV Grip on order that does not limit, but given the price it will stay home. I was hoping to find something nice looking but less investment that I can roll around town with. I use my Inferno EGO batts now, just want a bit more style.

Just FYI, that XL3 will take 2 CR123a batteries. It's not just that it will "tolerate" the higher voltage, it'll actually give you one more (green) voltage choice... on mine, green is around 5V.

I don't know much about how safe it is to stack batteries. From the sound of it you know much more about that sort of thing. Thought you might find the information useful.
