I have a small bottle of "Like Smoke" from puresmoker but I see he doesn't sell that particular flavor anymore. Does anyone know if this has been replaced under another name?

I emailed Steve yesterday but am sure he's pretty busy right now.

Tried a search but ya know how many hits you get using "like smoke" in the search box? LOL

Maybe it was renamed...or maybe it's been discontinued. If anyone knows, I'd sure appreciate a reply.

Tiny word to the wise - I was sure I had seen this comparison between Riskee and RY04, got a sample of the RY04 from another supplier here in UK and found it absolutely nothing like Riskee at all, which I already had from Simon at e-cigs.co.uk.

The Riskee is a great, strong flavour which I like but sadly didn't care for the RY04 at all. Coming to the conclusion that possibly different manufacturers all have their own ideas about this, or even because their quality control procedures may not be that hot (if they have any) it could be quite different from batch to batch - another lottery to add to our collection along with 'how long will an atomiser live for?' Hey ho.

I've never had RY4 (or any of the RY's)---but I had heard from some people that they had found the tastes very similar...so who knows. I actually don't think I've had Puresmoker's Riskee Yuice! since it was called Like Smoke/Riskee Yuice! (though I just ordered some), but I assume this is just a name change.

Kate,

Before I tried the Like Smoke, I ordered some RY4...mainly to compare it to the Riskee. It hasn't come yet but when it does, I'm going to try all three in separate, fresh cartridges. I'll post back on what I think.

Now...I think there is something to this "peppery" thing. I wouldn't have thought of that term but the more people mention pepper, the more I am thinking that is what I taste....particularly with the more "creamy" flavors (not so much with the fruits).

I wonder if that could have something to do with the 36mg....the more nic, the more peppery taste?

It might be different for you Lu. I got riskee from ecigs.co.uk and RY4 from Janty Europe. There could be different suppliers calling different formulas the same thing.

I noticed that Daniel said the Puresmoker like smoke was the same as riskee. The like smoke I tried from ecigs.co.uk a couple of months ago was not like riskee or RY4.

What I think I'm saying is that we might be talking about different formulas even though they have the same names.

Personally I think that the harsh/peppery/irritating taste is more to do with additives and the nicotine is more of a feeling, like spiky, until tolerance dulls it.

Hmmm I got my RY4 about 2 months ago
People say that it's got a caramel thing going on but I don't taste it

What I taste is something darker less sweet like molasses and a strong peppery tobacco taste

Are they different batches, different suppliers, or do we just have different taste buds?

I don't think there is a way to know unless we form a mob, grab some baseball bats (The people in the UK can use a cricket bat), and beat the answers out of the suppliers.
:p
But for now it looks like none of them are talking about sources and such things

If it is true that different manufacturers use the same names but (perhaps) different formulas....and that is why they don't taste alike even though they have the same name....then it seems it would be almost impossible to compare them...or even tell others how they might taste....unless we are talking about products coming from the same manufacturer.

What's even worse, we never know when suppliers switch manufacturers....or their suppliers who might have switched manufacturers. Oy! :|

Riskee Yuice from e-cigs.co.uk has been "my" flavour for the last few months, but my last bottle I ordered was nothing at all like Riskee. They said there had been a "mix up with the labeling" and that it was actually cigar flavour and kindly offered to exchange it for something else. They recommended Like Smoke as it was supposed to be similar, but after trying it; I've found that the Like Smoke tastes pretty much exactly like Janty's RY4. I agree with whoever mentioned that Riskee is a bit more peppery (which is actually quite nice). RY4 is ok for a little while, but just way too sweet. Its like smoking candy, which is ok every once in awhile, but I'm looking for a new every day flavour.

Are there any other fellow daily Riskee smokers who can recommend a new flavour for every day use?
