I gotta say, PBusardo hated it, but so far I like it!

I ordered one as a backup for my Provari, and I wanted to fiddle around with VW.

The screen IS oddly placed, but I can see it ok by using my index finger or the side of my thumb. I don't have huge man fingers anyway. The tube itself is large, and I presume it's the chip that takes up all this space. And the cap does squeak when you screw it in; he was correct on these criticisms.

That said, I do like having an OLED screen - hey, it's the way gadgets are going. VW is nice for getting the sweet spot for your juices, without having to fiddle with resistances.

I like it, and $75 after the discount was pretty reasonable. I'm seriously DONE buying hardware now! :vapor:

I just ordered one myself on thursday as my first mod! I watched Phil's review among others and decided that I liked the look of it so much I could deal with the buttons over the screen thing. I don't see myself changing settings every 5 minutes (well, not after the first couple of days anyway :D ) so I don't think it's that big of a deal. Now I find myself looking at stuff to put on it to make it look even more 'light-sabre-ish'.

Yeah ultimately, just like with ejuices, taste is subjective and you may love what someone else hates. I liked the look and the name. My new nephew is even named after Nicholai Tesla, lol. It dwarfs my Provari, but even the Vamo would do this - that's the nature of the chip. Down the road we will see smaller, better designed devices no doubt. Until then I am quite happy with the Tesla and would recommend it, along with the caveats.

Well I got my Tesla on Wednesday and have been loving it! While the buttons over the screen is a minor irritation sometimes, it is only MINOR and doesn't affect my opinion of the device. I don't need to check my atty ohms or check battery voltage every 2 minutes so who cares! The menu and adjustments are easy to understand & operate and the screen is easy to read even in bright light. It's been performing fabulously with my vivi novas, iClear, and now with my first rebuildable, an AGA-T2. I just need to get an eGo-510 adapter so I can try my Kangers on it. While I agree the look may not be for everybody, I like it! Despite it's size, I was surprised how light it actually is while still feeling like it's solidly built. :D I would definitely recommend this as a first mod for someone looking to move up from an eGo style device. Redneck approved! :thumb:

How did you make out? I am STILL undecided on which VV device i want to get. I am curious if you have tried the Evod or ProTank on it yet because i love them. Almost got the Vamo but it just seems cheap and i don't want something that is known to be slippery in the hand. Right now i am thinking Provari or Tesla.
